Have several of these and love them.

I first bought one to go in my living quarters of my horse trailer. Lots of lighter layers and a good goose down quilt are key to staying warm when camping with the horses and there's no electricity to heat the living area at night. Liked it so much, I bought one for my 20 year old son who was excited to get a real cotton, old school blanket. Then I bought one for our bed, granddaughter's bed, and a spare for just in case. I didn't find these to be lightweight - more of a medium weight. They are perfect for that extra layer on a cool spring night or on a fall/winter bed, in my opinion. Might be a little much in the summer, don't know yet. They wash well, no noticeable shrinkage and are about as soft as you can expect a 100% cotton blanket to be.

Just what I was looking for

It’s a perfect cotton blanket over my stomach area during Summer. Comfortable, soft and keeps my body at the right temperature. I love it and sleep better.

nice enough

I find the pattern cute. The color is more a parchment or almond I guess- pale but a bit too dark to just be called an offwhite, and leaning toward yellow. I'd hoped for more of a taupe or unbleached cotton color. There were numerous picks (is that the right word? threads that stick out in the middle of the cloth) after just washing it a couple times. Then as soon as it was on the bed all the cats paraded across to check it out and they all snagged their claws in it and tripped dramatically giving me a big guilt trip, which was rather funny. So it will be used only under another blanket, never exposed to the cats. Both to prevent paw sprains and to prevent the blanket becoming ugly from too much damage. I wanted something heavy but still breathable. This is ok. Not really heavy, but not light either just average. I got a king size for my queen bed assuming it would shrink. At this price you expect something really flimsy. But nope! It actually didn't shrink. I even put it in the dryer extra long to try but it didn't do anything. So now I think I need to hem it because I keep tripping in the extra that hangs down the sides of the bed. Don't be like me- get the proper size!

For people who overheat!!

I’ve had this blanket for over two years and it’s still in really good condition after being in the washer and dryer over the years. My boyfriend overheats when he sleeps so he always sleeps poorly with regular blankets. I bought this for him and it’s the only one he’s used since I bought it. He never overheats in it. It’s very breathable. It’s not super soft though, but neither one of us minds that. Buying another one after three years

Nice

Probably not 100% cotton. I’ve been using it about two weeks. Washed it on gentle prior to use. Dry on delicate. After almost 14 days I see little pills starting to form. It is a nice blanket. Not as soft as you would assume, but very nice. I just feel there is some polyester in it. It lack the true softness of 100% cotton and it stretches. But the little pills give the truth away. 100% cotton NEVER PILLS. I’ll send it back before 1-31-23 if the pilling gets worse.

It’s not exactly like the colour pictured because it’s mor on the yellow side of beige but it’s exactly the colour I wanted. Really happy with my purchase.

Nicely finished edges

This is a tightly woven but lightweight blanket which will be a perfect layer for the spring. The edges are nicely finished and it washed up well. I think for the money it is a good buy.

nice summer blanket

I like this summer blanket. It looks lovely on my bed, is warm enough to take off any chill but not hot forduring the heat of the summer and it washes nicely. Yes there is a lot of lint after washing the 1st time but being cotton it was to be expected.

Fits Queen size bed well

I ordered this to use under our duvet in the winter and as a summer blanket on its own. It replaces one that was supposed to fit a queen size bed but was too narrow, and had to be used sideways to cover properly (and was thus short in length). Even after washing, this is a good size and does exactly what we need it to.

I washed and dried this upon receiving and it washed and dried nicely. I won't be using it until the summer. Delivery was quick and arrived before the estimated date.
