Perfectly plush for your posh pet

This thing is soft and thick and I want one in adult human size! The colors are very beautiful and it’s a very nice high quality bed. We had to return it because it didn’t fit in her lil end table spot that I bought it for but I was sad to do so, it’s very luxurious for a dog bed.

We got these on sale…1 sm/med and one lg/xl. Both were under $31. Could not believe it for the brand. They are amazingly plush. Our dogs love them.

Soft and cushy, and pup approved, but smaller bed area than expected

This is a nicely cushioned pet bed, with lots of stuffing on the sides and bottom. I put it down for a moment and our dog immediately crawled into the bed for a nap. She didn't even wait for us to put it on the floor for her! It's attractive and well-made, and I may get another couple of these beds to replace some old worn-out ones we have around the house. Cons: The description says it's for "small/medium" dogs and gives dimensions of 18" x 22". Those are the exterior dimensions, not the usable space in the bed area itself. The small/medium size WITHOUT pushing the sides out, leaves a bed area in the bottom of rough 12"x9", maybe a teeny bit wider. Of course your dog will push the bolsters out a bit when they lie down, but this is not a bed made for what I would consider a medium-sized dog. My dog is 8 pounds and it was perfect for her. If she was 20 pounds or more, I think it would be too small. That said, it IS very very soft and nicely padded. My dog LOVES it, and I'm glad she's happy with it. But if you are buying for a medium or larger dog, don't get the "small/medium" size. Move up to the larger size and give your pup plenty of room to enjoy the cushy, comfy bed.

Mixed review - it's super soft and super cute, but my cats won't actually use it

Very mixed feelings about this. It looks very nice, it's well-made, and if it were for me I'd think it was just lovely. But my cats refuse to use it. That's not Vera Bradley's fault, of course... I don't think it's a design flaw or anything like that... but, still, I can't really give it five stars because it's not getting any use. I guess the good news for us is that the one complaint raised by several other reviewers--that there's no easy way to wash it--is a non-issue for us because the cats won't use it. So, it's staying nice and clean. Seriously, though, although my cats don't know a good thing when they see it, I do believe this is a good product. I just think I have difficult cats...

Super cute, plush, comfy pet bed- Spot Clean Only Though

I ordered this in the plaid colorway and it is so dang cute! The colors are rich and vibrant and the bed itself is extremely plush and cozy. My Scotties love cushy beds like this. They are under 25 pounds and the small/medium is large enough for them. However, there isn't much room to spare so for dogs that are larger than that, I would opt for the Large size. The biggest knock I have on this bed is that it is spot clean only. There is no removeable cover to easily toss in the washer. At this price point, I would expect something like that. My dogs have a lot of beds around the house so they are all in a decent rotation. However, dogs will be dogs and something will happen at some point and even from general use, they should be cleaned periodically. Overall, it is a very cute and cushiony bed but just know that it will be a challenge to clean properly over time.

Soft, cozy, spot clean only

I got this size small/medium for my 7lb Chihuahua and she took to it right away. It's cozy and comfortable for her and my 11lb dog squeezes in there with her and they cuddle up together. So it's one they can both fit in but when they are both in it there isn't much extra room. They both seem to really like it though because they keep going back to this bed over other ones right now. The first day she did that thing where they dig in the bed and it tore up some of the material a little too easily so now the bed of it looks snagged in multiple places. But it's a cozy bed. It's spot clean only, as was detailed in the description.

Perfectly fine cat bad

Vera Bradley making cat beds! What a world. The plaid pattern looks more LL Bean than VB. It's a perfectly fine cat bed, but nothing stands out. There's a bit of an indent on one side, but it doesn't really make a difference. My cats just stepped over the higher sides anyway. The plush is cushy, but my cats will sleep on cardboard, so I'm not sure it's much of a selling point.

Nice Plaid Suitable For Year Round Given Lighter Colors, Comfy & Cozy For 16 Lb. Dog-Spot Clean

This Vera Bradley pet bed in size S/M is sized just right for our little princess that weighs about 16 pounds. She cuddled up in it right away. The bed didn’t arrive with any odor, and it feels soft, thick, cozy and super plush. The stitching and construction look well done. The bed is 100% polyester, though the underside exterior feels like a thin layer of nylon that may help keep liquid from soaking through (but haven’t faced that situation). That layer of nylon has a nubby texture that may help keep the bed from sliding as much on some surfaces. The inside is a beige-ish color that doesn’t show every speck of dirt, and the exterior is a plaid with lighter colors like pink, green and blue mixed with white and black. The plaid is nice for the holiday season, but the light colors aren’t a traditional wintry plaid and won’t look out of place year round. The bed is compact and easily toted in the car as needed. The tag says spot clean only. At some point, I may take my chances and machine wash it on cold, delicate, but there’s no guarantee it will hold up. Either way, it’s a darling cozy little pet bed. Love it. 5 stars.
