Worked just fine.
Little stiff opening up at first bus was the perfect thing to help me do a project t on my roof. Very strong for the money.

They worked
These brackets were life savers on the 12:12 pitch roof we just completed. impressive on how comfortable the team felt once these were up and secured.

Works fine
I recently reroofed a house and used these in conjunction with old non-adjustable roof jacks. In my case the adjustability was non-essential due to the pitch of the roof, but I played around with it and found it easy enough to adjust. Overall I preferred my old rusted roof jacks simply because it was easier to position and mount with a board in place. I'll keep using them though, there's nothing to dissuade me on that aspect.

Great Home Owner Must have tool.
I'm a home owner and needed to do some siding repair but it required for me to get up on the roof. This helped out and made the work safe. It's a must have for home owners. You need to spray some lubricant around the moving parts because out of the box it's very stiff. Just spray some lubricant like WD40 and work it in. It's easy to use after that.

flimsy and bends easily but good enough
price is good, and even though almost all of them are slightly bent, it's not hard to straighten it out. it's lightweight, and that's good. i use 2x10s with this, span 6-8 feet, and only put 2 shingle bundles, along with my 140lbs+tools.

These were a life saver.
I bought these because I built a shed and the angle of the roof was just a little to steep that it acted like a slide. I purchased three of these to span the width of the 16' roof so I could work on shingling the whole roof without having to move the brackets. I used a 16' 2x6 as my platform. Using a ladder I shingled as far as I could reach then attached the brackets and continued on. Took some hammering to remove the brackets, but my roof looks good. It was the first time I ever did a roof and the thought of falling off was scary, especially because I suffer from chronic vertigo. These were a life saver and I didn't fear falling to my death or at least great injury when using them.
