They work okay
I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. I bought eight of these and have caught 3-4 mice in the past several months. All my other snap traps and haveaheart traps have captured many times this amount. So they sort of work, but not as good as others, in my experience.

Great trap and great customer service
Trap works as advertised. Very easy and lightweight, fits in most places where mice will pass through and is tough enough to leave outside if needed. Just put some bait inside right next to the ramp, set in a high traffic area for them and check twice a day. With strategic placing, one trap caught all 24 mice that were in my house, this took about a week. Each was able to be let go humanely and safely. Poison leaves little poisonous "treats" for your animals to eat and can leave bodies in the house that you will never find until you smell the decomposition. Snap traps are not reliable at all. Customer service was great as well. I ordered 6 traps and only received 1. Tried to get a refund through Amazon (LOL!). After talking with bots for hours with no progress, I emailed the company and they sent the 5 extra which arrived in 2 days. (Thanks Rachel!) Only downside to this trap is that the mice like to hide underneath the ramp inside and it's a pain to clean underneath sometimes when you have big hands. Overall I recommend this trap for preventative purposes (can leave outside and inside where they originally come in) and for active infestations (smart placement can catch all babies and papas pretty easily, the moms are a little more difficult). Also some tips for catching them. -Place traps in corners, along walls, near doorways, warm places or places where they can get nesting material easily. -Look for droppings, tunnel holes they make in walls/furniture and place trap along the path you think they are traveling. The bigger ones can be smarter and jump ON the trap to get past it so place something on top (I used the peanut butter jar that I baited the trap with) to make it seem like they cannot jump up. -Make a clear pathway to the trap, if you find them moving around the trap, place objects in a way that discourages them from going around. -Try not to be around where you place the traps. You want the mice to think there are no predators around so they frolic happily right into the trap with the rest of the homies. Good luck! And be respectful to these little fellas, they are more important to our livelihood than you might think!

Mouse traps
Easy to set. My city nice won't enter the trap.

not as effective as other traps and costs more
This was used for a mouse infestation and after several nights and days no mice were trapped even though there were mouse droppings around it. Other traps were then used and were very effective and cost was less. Finally after over a week a mouse entered and then made a continuous racket which prompted a release.

They work!
My exterminator placed these around our house & shop about 2 months ago. I didn't think they were working because we hadn't caught anything in almost 2 months -- but now that it's cooling off, I caught 2 today, 1 in each trap! The dead ones are so small they really don't smell badly, and the bugs eat the remains too. I can look in the end and see if there's a mouse in there -- and when I checked the second trap today, I didn't see anything in there, but could see mouse droppings around the trap, so I set it on a table and proceeded to slowly open the lid. The bait (cheese/peanut butter crackers) was well nibbled on, and there were mouse droppings inside, but no mouse. I was mystified -- it's all but impossible for something to get out of that trap door! But then I noticed a little movement & saw the little guy hiding in the corner under the trap door. I don't know how long he had left on this earth, but it surprised me and of course I slammed the lid shut. All because of a little mouse. . . . I bet he was as shocked as I was!! I think it would be more humane to add a little warfarin-containig bait (bait block) in there too, so a mouse would have a faster death than cooking in the sun or freezing or death by dehydration. It would just take a few bait block crumbs in each trap. We needed more coverage for a cabin in the woods, and these are identical so I was pleased to find them. I just hope a snake doesn't get caught in there! Wouldn't look forward to getting it out of the spring-levers!!

Great at first
These traps are easy to use and set up I caught a few mice and then I started to notice that the mice have gotten smart enough to escape out of the traps I open them up to find droppings and no bate left don’t know if it is a faulty trap or just very very smart mice but now I have get something else

Highly effective and easy to use.
Been hearing scratching in the walls and had evidence of mice via droppings for a while apparently. Pets were useless against the mice despite their breeds being known for rodenticide in general. Bought a set of these no-kill traps. Manufacturer description suggests people underestimate how many traps they need. I imagine this is at least partly due to mice changing patterns when one of their coven goes missing. The first night alone we caught seven mice. Three in the kitchen via two separate traps and four in just one trap in the basement. All using peanut butter as bait. These really do work! The peanut butter is a bit more difficult to clean up after. The oil from the substance is just not easy to wipe off of the metal surface. Nonetheless, I highly recommend these traps as a humane solution to catching the little critters. But remember to set them loose far enough away so they don’t just move back in.
