Felt end lasted 1 use, but easy fix with glue.

Glue let go on the felt end. Easy fix, but annoying nonetheless. Other than that, it works great! My optics are like new again!

What is not to like?

These are great for small areas like scope/binoculars lenses and MRD screens. Brush, then rub. They work great.

Must have in my bench guns range box. Cleans scope lenses with ease and no worries about any chances of scratching the high $ lenses

Not sure if it's old stock and simply doesn't work as expected

At first sight, this looks like old stock: the packaging, like many mentioned in their reviews, looks like it sat in the sun far too long and started fading. Not a great first impression. Then, there is the issue of the carbon tip that actually leaves carbon residue on the lenses! Unlike another reviewer who somehow accepts this and even claims it's supposed to happen, it is not supposed to. What good would a cleaning device be if it made everything dirtier after use? Sorry, it's not a rookie mistake, these have been compared to other brands that do not leave carbon behind as a "feature". Have bought two of them, returning both as they both fail the same way. Unclear if it's old stock or faulty material, but these are not performing to expectation.

The brush works well, but the micro fiber end comes breaks off easily.

Perfect, as usual, Not an old dirty package...

The pen is new and so is the packaging, some odd reason, the manufacturer fuses some sort of "vintage" look print for the package paper insert, you can see the "dirt" is printed on, and the rear bar code area is clean and white. Don't believe the "old packaging" folks. Works great, the best way to clean camera lenses.

Black debris and loose bristles keep falling off this product

This is clearly very low quality. If you wipe a lens with it it will leave behind lose bristles and little black pieces as the cleaner is falling apart. Avoid at all costs, it leaves your glass dirtier than it was before

Great Piece of Kit

Forget the clowns saying the packaging looks old, that is the way it is printed. I have used these pens for years and recently got three to replace ones lost in a fire. It is a great piece of equipment to have in your bag

Idea fantastica, anche perché prodotto da Vortex. Ma il risultato è deludente. Prodotto vecchio di magazzino, si vede benissimo anche dalla confezione. Consiglio, rinnovate l'approvvigionamento.
