Missing Parts, Instructions are horrible, and Drawers over lap and don't close

Update: 06/11/2020 <<<<>>> After following instructions for requesting missing parts found on Amazon, I contacted Walker Edison. It took over 2 weeks to get a response. They tell me the parts are back ordered and they don't think they will get any soon. They also said that I should contact whoever sold me it and just have it replaced. Basically, they are blaming the person I bought it from and refusing to take any responsibility. For the parts that were not in the package. So now I have wasted a lot of money on something that is going to permanently be missing a drawer. I ordered the dresser because it looked like it would fit nice. Now that I have it I am disappointed in the company. First it is to hard to assemble. They use to many of those tighten down bolts. Basically put you will need to use all the glue and find more to get it to be sturdy. Secondly, I was missing a part for a drawer. I went to my amazon account that sent me to the Walker Edison website and filled out the request for the one missing drawer side. It has now been over a week since I sent the request and Walker Edison has not responded. This is completely unacceptable, If I had known that Walker Edison would be like this I would have sent the dresser back. Third, the parts that I did assemble don't fit together. The drawers overlap each other a good 1/4 of an inch. I looked at everything. The assembly of the drawers and dresser were done according to the horribly written instructions. I had to get by brother who is a cabinet maker to look at it to fix it. I can not recommend this at this time.

Strong Chemical Odor!

Cute nightstand looks like real wood for the money. The problem is that when you open the drawers after you built it, it smells like Formaldehyde!

have patience when putting it together

In my family I am known as the queen of putting furniture together.... this was the biggest pain in the @$$ I have ever dealt with. I ordered 2 of these end tables and on both of them, the screw holes did not match up for the drawers. I know the instructions say not to use power tools but I highly recommend using them as it was a bigger pain without them as the screw holes aren't even properly started which makes it even more difficult. I do like the look of them and they work good for why I needed them.

Great looking, long assembly

Love the final product but took myself and a fellow idiot about 3 hours to put together, so set aside extra time in your schedule if you’re moving somewhere new. Minor issue with two parts being incorrect (extra #12 pieces but missing #11’s). Pieces were almost symmetrical and a cutting a small groove was enough to fix. All that said, for this price point this furniture looks amazing compared to the rest in it’s class, definitely a good buy.

Difficult to assemble

Step 8 of assembly is quite difficult to complete, the cam connector has to pass through another section of wood and doesn't, on its own, naturally reach, it has to be pried through with a screw driver to be caught by the locking mechanism. Also, the pieces are quite fragile at this point, I almost broke multiple trying to make it past this step. I did succeed but I significantly stressed the wood.

Assembly: Difficult

Before assembly: read through instructions and spread out pieces to get an idea of the whole process. "Foreshadow" the assembly. By that I mean, ask yourself "How would it look like when the drawers are put together?" It will be handy to do so! I'm an assembly guru and this piece has been the most difficult by far, as also stated by others who bought this furniture. Its visual look brings me a late 1800s feeling but with a modern twist. Not disappointed at all. It's a great nightstand, get creative!

Dimensions are wrong

As shown in the pictures, the dimensions of the product are completely wrong, and it will not fit in our space. Extremely disappointed.

Cheap even for flat pack (and damaged)

It's not easy to assemble so expect at least 2-3 hours if you're doing it alone and the particle board is very flimsy, it looks great in the manufacturers pix but not as good when assembled. The drawer fronts are off center (even though I've assembled per the instructions) and it arrived with a big dent in the top. I messaged the manufacture vie email and Amazon but have not received a response, let's see if they bother to comment on here.
