Small but powerful blender.
March 8 2023 Advertised as a small spice grinder but the sealed lid works well for wet items. 750w is Plenty of power for most blending needs. Will easily grind ice cubes into small pieces. Commercial rating means replacement parts are available as they wear. No nonsense On/Pulse buttons. Cleaning the two included bowls is easy and takes less time due to the (approx) 1cup capacity.

This is the heavy-duty monster grinder
Large cups to put large amounts of material in. It whines like a jet engine, and gets the job done. I used dry chili pepper flesh out of the "BADIA" bag, I destem and deseed, and this grinder went to town. The flesh still had some moisture in it, so I put what had been ground into a ceramic bowl in my toaster oven on 125 degrees and let it dehydrate some more, then took it back to the grinder and Voila!! Great grinder, I'm happy with this.

really doesn't allow you to adjust the grind size
I bought the most expensive grinder because I wanted to customize the size of the grind - it really doesn't do that. Its one grind.

Great quality grinder.
I'm in the initial phase of starting a hot sauce business. This works great to grind dried peppers into fine powder. It easily handlers harder spices like nutmeg. Came with 3 stainless grinding bowls with lids which makes switching from different ingredients and storing much easier so you can just swap the bowls instead of having to completely wash and dry between ingredients.

It’s a very fine machine
I like that it comes with 3 jars. I grind coffee in one, dry spices in one and purées in the third. Best part is the lids for every jar. Very easy to use, very easy to clean

NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
Before you purchase one of these units there are some thing to know and consider. I dehydrate a ton of fruits, veggies, herb and spices. I have also put many spices grinders to the test. I just bought this Waring Commercial WSG30 hoping it would be better than the Hamilton Beach Custom Grind Deluxe 15 Cup Coffee Grinder (80374). I LOVE the Hamilton Beach model and at $14.95. at my local Home Depot. However they designed the motor shaft to the grinding blade with plastic/rubber locking wheels between the cup and the motor. it doesn't take long for these plastic / rubber parts on the bottom of these grinders to get hot and come apart in an epic fail! I purchased the Waring and gave $120.00 for it plus shipping and have $150 in it. I took it out of the box and was very sad to see a so called commercial unit have the same design a Hamilton Beach Custom Grind #80374. I tried it out and I am further disappointed as it does not function like in the videos. I am looking for a unit that can grind herbs and spices into a very fine powder. This will do that but the end product is still more of a course powder and rather than fine. I tried filling half of the cup as well as down to about 4 tablespoons and there just is no difference. While the Waring would make a excellent coffee grinder, it is just not a good spice grinder. The problem is that the unit just does not spin fast enough to make a fine powder unlike the Hamilton Beach model. Sadly I could have purchased 7 of the Hamilton Beach Custom Grinder #8037 for what I paid for this Waring WSG30. I'm not at all impressed! Moreover, If you are thinking about buying a Waring WSG30 Spice Grinder, check out the Cuisinart Grind Central Coffee Grinder DCG-12BC for $30.00 first! Best small Grinder I have found
This is the 2nd of these grinders I have owned after trying several others. I'm a little disappointed that the fit on this 2nd grinder is not as precise as my first one. The cups and cover do not easily snap into place but we've made it work. It is still the most durable small grinder I have found. The first one died after about a year...but I used it often to grind both herbs and salt for my manufacturing business.

Not worth the price
Over priced. Poor Finish and spice bowls get stuck Does not grind any better that normal coffee grinder or ninja grinder.

Worth No Stars
The biggest problem with this unit is trying to put in place the plastic cover. It is so difficult to do that. You have to use so much pressure to push and then twist the cover. It feels like the plastic cover will crack. This is needed to be in place or else it wont start since it is the locking mechanism. I kept wondering why they made this simple process so difficult. Wrote to Waring about this but go no reply. I am not the only one that had this problem. Just read the other reviews.

Simple yet perfect
After years of using pre-ground spices, I tried grinding some whole spices in a pestle and morter. There were noticable improvements in flavour and aroma so I began looking for an electric spice grinder (I had some time to kill). Most of the range developed for home use seemed a little feeble, with plastic bodies and small motors, and their reviews echoed that; many complained of these machines breaking down after a few months or frequently jamming etc. So, in a fit of enthusiasm, I bought this one. It's simple to use and does exactly what it should - grinds. So far, I've used it to make garam masala (with whole spices: cinnamon, cloves, cardamons, bay leaves, coriander, cumin, black pepper, and allspice) a few times and it's munched those into a fine powder. I have also used it for coffee beans with perfect results. The grinder is a rotary blade type (similar to a coffee grinder) but its powerful motor enables it to cope with everything I've used it for. There are three identical grinding cups (each with its own blade) provided and these are easy to clean. The photo here is misleading in one way; the safety lid (the upper half of the machine as pictured)is clear perspex rather than the metalic version show. Although pricy for the domestic buyer, this seems well built and sturdy and it does the job it should so I would recommend it. UPDATE: Almost two years of daily use and the grinder is still working perfectly.

Used once, stopped working. Don’t waste your money.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. It was recommended from one of the cookery books he uses and is obviously not cheap. He used it once to make a garlic and ginger paste. It stopped working after one use. The mechanism that turns in the bottom has worn! It wasn’t even grinding anything hard! Then the container holding the paste leaked! It’s now being returned and I’m having to pay the return cost to America. I’m told I will have these costs reimbursed when they receive the grinder but this remains to be seen! Very disappointing.
