Simple, easy to use, taste great & worth it!

Okay so this arrived and we waited all day to finally use it as a family and let me tell you, the machine worked flawlessly, no smoke, no weird plastic smell or taste. It was smooth and delicious! We popped great northern popcorn in it and then paired that with flavorcol popcorn salt and snippys popcorn oil on top and lord have mercy! It was like my childhood all over again, just delicious. The machine popped pretty quickly and in seconds had my white home smelling like a mall theater. I'm not even bothered that it doesn't keep the popcorn warm after popping as it's really good once cooled to room temperature, my only complaint is the door that extends open to get to popcorn, it's flimsy and pops in and out way to easily causing a mess if it pops out. I wish it latched in better, though I understand why it's way to easy to pop in and out. It's annoying with small kiddos who love to snack on popcorn. Little hands pull it off. It's also a bit of a pain to clean, though that's probably going to be most if not all popcorn machines soo, I'm not mad about it. Otherwise 10 out of 10 recommend this! It's precious and worth the money for the little moments in life with your family and loved ones. It brought so much joy to my children's day and as a parent I couldn't be happier.

We love our popcorn machine!

This was the perfect fit for our basement! We had zero experience making our own popcorn so it took us some time to figure it out. The instructions were helpful and it is overall easy to use. It is a little tricky to clean because the top pot does not disconnect, but I am able to clean it well with a damp paper towel. As for the flavor, we had to do our own research to find the right mixture of popcorn, butter, and salt! We overall love it!

Cant give it five stars

My fault that i dont 'love' this machine as i shoulda read the details closer. It doesnt come with a warmer feature and the first thing my son said when he tryed the popcorn i made was: why is it cold? But the thing that bothers me is that the plastic tip out piece that sits in the machine by two plastic tabs was too flimsy and one of the tabs has just snapped off with very little force. I used plain old cheap popcorn and there is quite a few kernals unpopped, so i order oville redenbacher an will try it out shorty to see if its the popcorn that is at fault or the popcorn maker.

Works great

We like the machine, it works great and is easy to use. It pops the corn just great and we use it pretty frequently and haven't had any issues. I caution the cheap at heart, such as myself, who would dare to purchase the "like new" used model. After purchasing this popcorn machine I waited with baited breath and was filled with glee on the day of it's arrival, but was soon deflated like a week old balloon when I saw the condition of the box that looked like it had been kicked down the street by a rugby team and taped together by a nearsighted preschooler. Not judging a book by it's cover, I was undaunted and tore away at the ramshackled packaging to discover a sad sad popcorn popper that looked just as dilapidated as the sloppy packaging from which it was birthed. With 50% of the plexiglass housing cracked or completely broken, the obvious signs of multiple uses by the previous owner, including oil and popcorn husks littering the interior, it's safe to assume Richard Gere would not have had a second date with this not so pretty woman. Despite the fact that a canine in similar shape would have been euthanized out of pure mercy, I rolled up my sleeves and scrubbed the filth and obvious signs of trauma off this machine and showed it that love still exists in this sometimes cruel world and I am happy to report this machine is again capable of producing a fine batch of popcorn.

Great buy!

I have yet to test it but it’s the perfect size! Looks authentic like the movie theater machines in smaller scale but all in all I love it for our home theatre!????

Small but fun

This was a good purchase, no complaints. The popping kettle is small, so you have to make several batches if preparing for more than 1 or 2 people. But it doesn't take long to pop. My favorite thing is it's reasonably easy to clean as the pieces come apart simply. Overall a good purchase

Love this popcorn machine!

I bought this popcorn machine for my son’s carnival/circus themed birthday & I love it! It was a hit at the party, everyone loved it. 1 cup of popcorn kernels fills the machine halfway & it was enough for 10 kids. I made a second batch for the parents right after. Super quick, super easy to assemble. Will definitely recommend this product to my friends!

Birthday present that gets used constantly

Got this for my sisters husband birthday. He loves it and uses it constantly. The kids love it too. Got him the black on my sisters advice. They had color choices. Blue, red, and black. The tray makes it easy to clean according to my sister. No regrets!

Best Christmas gift for my family

This must be the Best gift I have ever bought for my family. We are a random popcorn night kinda family and this exceeded our expectations. Yes it is all plastic but not in a bad way or cheaply made. It works great and we love the fresh popcorn in just a few minutes. With some simple popcorn kernels, flavorcol butter salt and a movie butter/oil, it was a Great purchase!!!

Great little appliance works great.

The only down side is that I wish it made more than 4 servings. Normally when you buy an appliance of this type its for covenience and asthetics. Asthetically its adorable, a bit large for the small amount it makes 3/4 of the machine remains empty after popping. It also needs a better latch on the door.

Great popcorn maker

I am replacing my smaller oil popcorn maker with this one. The popcorn is made within 4- 5 minutes. The only issue you may have is leaving it on too long and burning some popped kernels. Definitely should not be used by children. Best to stop popping and dump near the end and not right at the end...because it seems very hot and burns the popcorn within seconds. It makes quite a bit of popcorn. You can use 1/2 cup of kernels at a time. It comes with a small plastic scooper for getting the popcorn out, a 1/4c measuring cup for the popcorn and 1tbsp measuring spoon for the oil. The instructions indicate that the oil will make the plastic look bad over time, so it needs to be cleaned after each use.
