Cute, cheap, needed ceiling medallion

These are a great price and offer a light that's different from what you see in other homes. It's cute and doesn't scream a specific trend. They're tasteful and timeless. The base was narrower than the existing one, so we had to purchase medallions to cover the hole as an easy fix. The base is about 4.5 inches wide and the hole in the ceiling is a bit larger. We had no issue with screws being the wrong length. My husband was able to install these easily after watching a few YouTube videos and by reading the instructions.

This light is a little smaller than it looks in the photos. But I still like it. We have it in two spaces.

I hate to admit that I'm not the greatest handyman

Received and installed today. I hate to admit that I'm not the greatest handyman, but figured how hard could this be? As it turned out, not too hard! The reason for the purchase was that I installed an INSTEON connected light bulb in this location and the old fixture was too small for the oversized LED light. This fixture just barely accepts the light: the tip of this physically large bulb might actually be making contact with the globe, but it does fit. Installation was pretty easy. The only problem I had was with the supplied screws that attach the fixture to the outlet box. They seemed to be a tiny bit too thin and didn't screw in tightly (like the outlet box screw holes were stripped). I just reused the screws that I took out of the old fixture. They "looked" the same size, but they screwed in tightly. Now, I have to order two more to change out the other hallway fixtures.

Great price for a simple, quality fixture

Ceiling lights can be very annoying to install - it always feel like you need an extra set of hands and arms to get the job done. This light was pretty simple. It's lightweight, and the hardware helped make the job quick and easy.the light is smaller than I had envisioned - but that's my own fault. I still like it and it's a nice, simple design. Our room is 10ft x 10ft with an 8ft ceiling. I wouldn't recommend this light for a room any bigger than that - it would feel lost in the space. I think it's great for an average size bathroom, laundry room, entryway or small bedroom.

Made this light my own perfectly fitting design

I had a vision of the light I wanted above our sink, and when I saw that my vision was going to cost a couple hundred dollars, I decided to get creative. A little spray paint and electrical tape on this inexpensive fixture did the trick. I didn’t spend a lot of time making sure it turned out perfect, but it will be easy to go back and measure out the stripes/tape to be spaced perfectly all the way around. I just wanted to see if it would work, and look right in the space it was going. All thumbs up!

good general light

This is a good light for a place where you do not want it very bright. Even when you install a good "daylight" bulb. It is very reasonable and looks better to me than the standard cheap lights you end up seeing everywhere. Nice base and easy to install too.

Installation was Easy

I installed this in my kitchen; it was pretty easy to do by myself. My kitchen used to just have an exposed light bulb. I'm living in a rental so I didn't want to spend too much money on a light fixture and this does the job. It kind of goes with my retro appliances. I put a 60W light bulb in there and it really does the job at night.

Unique light

I love this light. Bought two for my hallway to replace dated brass lights. As other reviewers have mentioned the base of the light is very small but I had lights up already with small bases so it wasn’t an issue for me. Love the look and they were a great price.
