Assembly is wonky, parts dirty, but cart is best in class.

The construction is okay, the welds are ruff and the metal was dirty. Consider wiping off each piece before assembly. The plastic stop tubes do not fit well, you will need a rubber mallet to set the shelves in place. The wheels aren't great and require tedious leveling to get them equal. Even after doing so, the wheels can unscrew themselves as the cart is moved around. The cutting board is bamboo and fits in the top shelf nicely. The shelves are strong should have no issues holding the heaviest kitchen appliances. Overall, the cart is functional and does what is supposed to do. Best in class.

Easy sturdy-five star!

Using this for my crafts. The shelves are sturdy. The whole thing is perfect for kitchen or craft. I plan to use it in my studio where I do fused glass work. The microwave is larger that the base but it is sturdy enough to hold it steady. It is absolutely worth the money. Industrial looking. Clean Easy to assemble!

Great Workhorse for the Kitchen

I have been creating a coffee/tea station for my kitchen that needs to be mobile. This cart is perfect for holding my coffee machine, coffee pods, condiments, water bottles and drink utensils. The unit is easy to assemble within ten to fifteen minutes. The hardest part of assembly is determining the height of each shelf. The wooden topper and handle are so nice and sturdy. They create a polished look to the cart. The wheels are strong and very smooth. As a result, the cart moves with ease.

Nice quality cart!

Purchased this cart for my laundry room. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. I especially like to top wood cut board that also insets into the shelve, which can be removed and/or reversed. Gives me several options for future use of the cart if I should decide to use for food prep. Is a great size for using between the washer/dryer and lots of flexability of shelving heights. Easy to adjust shelving and no tools required to do so. The ridgidity of the legs and shelving are great, feel very confident will last! The wheels with locks will make cleaning in the room a breeze and function very well. If looking for a shelve unit for long term use, this one fits the bill and worth tha cost. I have no regrets on choosing it and would definitely recommend.

Good cart for the cost

Overall it's a good cart. It is a little uneven so I had to loosen a couple casters to level it out. Even still my middle shelf is a little crooked and the wood is not the greatest quality, but that's ok. I'm not intending to use this as a cutting board. I have a large pressure cooker and was a little bummed I couldn't put my pressure cooker and kitchenaid stand mixer on the middle and/or lower shelf at the same time. I would have known that if I would have taken a little more time to measure. Definitely serves its purpose and is easily adjustable.

I struggled to put it together

Ok, once I figured out my fatal mistake, it was fine and very easy. Just make sure when you put the shelves on the poles, the lip of the shelf faces up. I assumed (wrongly) that the top of the shelves are flat and this caused a great deal of frustration. This detail should be added to the directions.

Absolutely love this cart

I’ve been looking for.a wheeled cart for a long time. This Whitmor Kitchen cart was an excellent find. It was affordable, easy to assemble, very sturdy, easy to adjust the shelve heights and I am most happy with it. Congratulations Whitmor and to your employees on a wonderful, well made product. As soon as I’m able, I will definitely be ordering another.

A very nice addition to any Kitchen

This is a nice product, but it takes a little expertise in assembly. First off the wood cutting board is going to be conditioned with the proper mineral oil and sealer, it comes untreated and for continued use and longevity it will need treatment. Secondly do not through the box that it comes with out, the picture on the box can be a very useful tool in helping to assemble the cart. The instructions are okay and helpful but they are not explicit in putting together all the pieces in more-or-less the exact positions. This is crucial if you want to achieve getting everything level and the castors roll evenly. Do not let what I have said so far discourage you it can be done with a little time and effort. The poles on the corners and holding the racks are stationed with anchor stops, note the direction indicated on the stops, important. Note the right spot on the poles where these stops go, hence referring to the picture on the box, only because it is more illustrated. If you get this right working from the bottom up, carefully, you will achieve nirvana. Now here is a trick I learn, not mentioned in the instructions. The stops will not fully fit into the cylinders provided for each rack and will need to be better anchored, so as to there is no slippage later. What I did was to get an adjustable wrench or a fixed wrench the width of the stop, an placed in underneath on the tube and took a soft hammer (easy does it) and pounded down until most all the stop was inserted into the cylinder, watching and taking care that the rack stayed put and did not waver up or down, keeping the same spot where it was. Eventually everything came out great and I will be treating the cutting board with the proper mineral oil and sealing it. I pleased with the outcome of this product and looking forward to using it, a very nice addition to my very large kitchen, helps moving things around. My note to the manufactures, " Maybe keyholing the rack placements and push handle, so there is no adjustment or best guess placement.".
