Not as great as the original

I had the original that came out years ago (but lost it in a move). The pictures on this one are considerably darker and a bit scary, but it's still a fabulous game and I wasn't buying it for the art work.

One of Our Favorites

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my husband for this most recent Christmas. I had no idea it would become a family favorite. We play it every weekend--even if it's just one quick round. We keep a notebook so we can keep track of who everyone is game to game. It's fun to see how things change, or who seems to be consistently a greater dreg. I also think the artwork on this particular version is fantastic.

Love this!

Our family has been playing the original Great Dalmuti since the 90s. We got one copy for ourselves and another as a gift for my brother. The artwork is great, some optional new rules are very entertaining. Fantastic game!

Grands loved it

The 5 grand-sons range from 12 to 6 and they could all learn it and they all have fun with it. Their mom said it was a good game, so ya can't beat a 'mom approval' as far as this granny is concerned.

Fun game for casual play.

Fun game for 4-8 people. Want to give UNO a break? This fun and simple game will fit that bill. I plan to buy two copies because I can already tell this game will see lots of repeated use.

Simple but fun

Got this as a gift. The rounds are quick but the ever-changing hierarchy kept us playing for hours each session. The game boils down to quantity vs quality, with both being effective.

Great game for 5 or more players.

I first played this at the MTG worlds in Seattle. Great game, easy to learn and a great party game or microgame.

Quick fun game

We are slowly building up a board games and card games stash (thank you lockdown). This is a really nice addition. I'd not played the original version so can't comment on how game play differs if at all. This version however is a quick fun game that you get to grips with through playing. You quite quickly learn strategies to win. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick paced game you don't have to invest too much brain power to play.
