Finally someone gets it

I looked for these hario stands recently online, and i realized most reviewers have no idea what the real benefit is. Most of them have an oddly shaped and small base which can't fit most scales, so when people asked about their scales fitting then others would just say you can put the the base on top of the scale. That completely defeats the purpose! When measuring how much coffee you extract, you can only have the cup collecting the coffee on the scale and nothing else. Otherwise you'll never be accurate with soaked grounds and can't be certain you're doing it consistently correct everytime. I prefer having complete control of all variables so those other ones don't cut it with my scale. With the original Hario stand, can you put a scale and cup/carafe under the coffee dripper. The problem is that only their small official Hario scale is guaranteed compatible to fit on the base for usage, and under for storage. The only other viable options were larger, professional ones for baristas working in coffee shops and they are so expensive and take too much space. Thank you Yamazaki for being the only company to offer a real solution.

Really Nicely Made!

I was expecting something kinda flimsy and wobbly for the (cheap!) price, but this is not at all flimsy! the metal legs are nice, thick steel with a durable seeming powder coating. The wood is smooth and doesn't rotate or slip side to side (I'm guessing it's glued to the rail). It opens and closes smoothly and the joints aren't loose or too tight. It's just really well made. I'm glad I got this instead of one of the larger, less storable, more expensive drip stands.

Works well for 2 pour over coffees at a time

This is convenient for making 2 pour-over coffees. It is on the tall side, so there is plenty of space for larger mugs. Also means shorter mugs require a little finesse in placement and there could be (will be) some splashing. Keep a rag handy.

You can't put hario scales under the carafe

Kinda useless if you can't use a scale when you brew it

Does not fit most mugs/cups including Costco’s 16oz paper cup.

It won’t fit for most mugs/cups because it’s too short. Very few people use coffee stands by without a scale underneath the cups. It’s simply too short and will require you to balance it on top of something else in order to make it fit with most standard cup sizes.

SO GLAD I FOUND THIS

I have a Vario for pourover, but I use larger coffee cups and needed to find a stand. It was impossible to find something simple and cost effective for this purpose until now. This is very well made, accommodates the funnel perfectly and folds away for easy storage. A real find and classy looking!

ガタツキも無くしっかりとした作り

１０２タイプのドリッパーは二つまでしか載りません。あと数センチあれば三つ載るのに。。。木部の高さ（底部分）は１３.８センチでした（個体差あると思いますが）木部を長い物に取り替えてもっと幅を増やそうと目論みましたが、実際は本体は全て鉄で出来ていて木部は鉄部を覆い隠しているだけなのでお手軽リフォームとは行かなかった。

スタンドの足のゴムがすぐとれる

テーブル等に傷がつかないようにスタンドの足の部分に取り付けるゴムが付属しており、自分で張り付けるようになっていますが、ピンセットで慎重に取りつけたにも関わらずすぐに取れてしまいました。濡れたりはしておりません。テーブルに傷をつけたくない方はお気をつけください。
