Great set of sockets for the price

What can I say, they made a very decent set of impact sockets. They were oiled and came in a nice sturdy case with easy to read labeling. I've been impressed so I've started ordering the gearwrench tools for my lower techs at work and theyre happy to have consistent availability at a moderate price / quality.

Gearwrench doesn't disappoint

Some of the best impact sockets I've ever used. No rust or issues with fitment on the impact gun, just an excellent complete (standard and metric) set of 3/8 impacts. The price point is phenomenal also, as there are many sets of inferior sockets for much more money.

Easy to read, and have a complete set of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2!

Love these! Easy to read and one of a few kits to offer identical sockets in all 3 drive sizes! Common sizes that is! If i need 3/4 or 1 inch drive thats a whole other box of ancient blood stained relics... jk jk. But truthfully they are nice sockets!

WOW All for under $100.00.

All I can say is WOW. I am 51 years old and I have bought a lot of tools over my life time so far but this is the one purchase I was and still am really excited about. I still can not believe I stole this GearWrench 3/8" 44 piece impact socket set for under $100.00. What is not to like. Yes this set was made in China but for this price I will continue to buy it over and over again. Pros: -You get a really good assortment of SAE/Metric impact sockets. Metric is why I bought this set. -You get 8mm - 21mm with only the 20mm missing. -You get both shallow and deep impact rated sockets. -They are Chrome molybdenum alloy steel for really added strength. -They are Black oxide coated to help resist corrosion. -You get a 3" and a 6" impact rated extensions plus you get a 3/8" impact rated universal joint. -The sizes are laser etched and hard stamped into the metal so seeing the sizes is not a issue. - You get a really sturdy case with 2 metal clasps in the from and 1 plastic one on each side. Cons: Some people may see being Made in China as a con but you are not going to find a better set for this price. To me it is not a Con. Sure it would be nice to see this set made in the USA or Canada but then it would cost 3 times as much. As a DIYer like myself this is just the right set at just the right price. I can not justify spending the expensive tool truck prices as a DIYer. Overall: I am really excited to use this set. This is the perfect set for the DIYer or for the Automotive mechanics that are just starting out in their careers. GearWrench offers a really tool at a really affordable price that comes with a lifetime warranty even if bought from Amazon. What else can you ask for! This kit has everything a modern day Automotive mechanic would need in a 3/8" impact rated socket set. Sure it is a little weak on the SAE side but mostly everything is metric now a days. You can not go wrong buying this kit in my opinion. As I sated above, I can not justify or afford to spend the high tool truck prices or even the more expensive tools on Amazon because companies like Gray will not give a warranty if bought from Amazon.

Excellent quality for a great price! Is a proven rust buster.

Just got the 44pc 3/8 Gearwrench impact socket set the other day. Perfect timing as I’m working on restoring a boat trailer. To say the bolts were rusty would be an understatement. They were rusty and everyone of them was seized up. Gave them all a squirt yesterday and went out today to pull it apart. I pushed and pulled like you would believe. Some manual. Some by impact driver. I’m super impressed. This set held up to about three hours of abuse and I’m really talking abuse! The price was right and the reputation was there so I gave Gearwrench a chance. This is by first purchase from them and it won’t be my last. I can honestly say that my poor little Craftsman ratchet was flexing due to the force I was putting into it. Might check out Gearwrench’s ratchets next. I’m sure they’re equally impressive. The set comes in a blow molded case and is laid out quite nicely. It has good quality metal front matches and additional side plastic matches as well. Also has metal hinges. I wanted easy to read sockets and these are both stamped and laser etched. Score! I’m very happy with them and I think you would be too. Thanks Gearwrench! A nice product. Can’t wait to get more of your stuff!

Excelente calidad y combinación de medidas

Excelente combinación de medidas y extensiones, la pared de los dados es reducida para utilizarlos en lugares estrechos y no tener la necesidad de tener otro juego de dados cromados de pared delgada, el grabado de la medida es muy claro para identificarlos fácilmente. El estuche se aprecia de buena calidad. Hay que estar revisando, porque periódicamente bajan de precio, los compré a muy buen precio. No veo la necesidad de tener un juego con las medidas repetidas en cuadro de 1/2" para medidas inferiores a 19 mm(3/4").

Great tools for the money!

This kit is really well put together and pretty much all you could ask for in a 3/8" impact kit! Just really what you need and nothing you don't... Told are clearly marked and tough as nails!
