Der vakuumisolierte Edelstahlbecher von Zojirushi hält Getränke stundenlang heiß oder kalt mit einem dicht schließenden, aufklappbaren Deckel. Die leicht zu reinigende, doppelt antihaftbeschichtete Innenseite erhöht die Haltbarkeit und bietet einen besseren Schutz des Edelstahls vor salzhaltigen Getränken wie Sportgetränken. Der 2-stufige Deckelentriegelungsprozess verhindert, dass überschüssiges Kondenswasser am Stopfen beim Öffnen des Deckels weggeschleudert wird. Der Deckel verfügt außerdem über eine Sicherheitsverriegelung, um ein versehentliches Öffnen des Deckels zu verhindern. Die Entlüftungsöffnung am Mundstück ermöglicht einen reibungslosen Austritt der Getränke und verhindert so ein Schwallen oder Überlaufen. Die Weithalsöffnung der Flasche beträgt 1-5/8 (4 cm). Eine spezielle Herstellungstechnik wurde verwendet, um das Gehäuse leicht und kompakt zu machen und es einfach und bequem zu transportieren. Alle Teile bestehen aus BPA-freiem Kunststoff und Edelstahl.

Very cute, keeps temp, good edge for drinking
I bought this very cute thermos for myself. It does a good job keeping my hot tea at a suitable temperature for many hours. I once left it overnight and it was still lukewarm the next day. It holds 2 cups of liquid to the very top edge. You do have to ensure you screw the top on securely or it will leak. If on securely, it doesn't leak. I really like the inner lip that you drink from. It is curved in such a way that the liquid doesn't accidentally spill out when you tip it to sip it. Most coffee mugs I have used before have a hole to drink out of and they notoriously spill and get on my clothes when I drink. Also, this has a locking lid. So, when I carry it, it doesn't accidentally open/spill like my regular coffee thermos. I got the matching soup thermos and it holds a large bowl's worth of oatmeal that I take with me in the morning when I don't have time to eat. I just wish though that they had a matching bag to carry them in. Also, I wish they had a matching lunchbox. It would be very cute.

I was hesitant on the price compared to other "regular" brands, but considering it's Zojirushi and their rice cooker is top-notch, I gave it a try. Super lightweight and the black option is entirely coated (including the bottom) with a smoot/semi-glossy coat. This is great so it won't scratch. Leakproof and doesn't stain inside. As others have noted, it's slow to drink from; which I think is by-design for hot beverages (actually really a good thing). If you want a faster sip for cold beverages, just get a tumbler then. Only downside is that there are many components to the lid, so cleaning might take a bit longer. 20oz is a great size. 10oz in the morning; 10oz for after that heavy lunch and 2:30pm rolls around. Overall, I highly recommend.

Buy it. Worth the money.
Don’t know why it took us so long to buy this. Bought it for my husband and he loves it. Loves that it keeps his coffee hot for a long time. Maybe a little too hot at times. Doesn’t have that nasty soap taste like he got from the Contigo we previously had. No matter how we washed it, it never went away. This is super easy to clean and doesn’t affect the taste of our drinks.

Next Level Kid's Thermos
If you want your kid to have the best gear in his/her class, then this is it for a water thermos. Zojirushi is quality Japanese-made kitchen items, and their culture is huge on quality accessory items for their children. (Just google Japanese school lunch vs US). This is heads and tails above the standard 'sippy cup' with large cartoon characters on them model you find in every walmart, target, etc. The design is simple, sleek and the functionality is first-rate. Lock-mechanism works wonderfully but is still manageable by our 3yr old. Very durable, and easier to clean than my Hydro Flask.

Best Thermos, Seriously
Like you, dear reader, I was skeptical about how good this thermos would work out for me. Well let me tell you, I am now a believer. It really does keep your coffee/tea piping hot for 6-8 hours, but if you leave it at work overnight like I have it's still drinkable warm the next day! I've burnt my tongue countless times on how hot it stays, so I do advise to open the lid for about 30 minutes before drinking. I love the rubber stop lid it has, I'm able to add my cream and sugar to my coffee and then shake the hell out of it to mix it together AND NO LEAKS! love love love this thermos, I've recommended it to all my coffee drinking friends already. It's also so sleek looking, like you go coffee lover!

Good quality
Keeps my daughter's drink cold all day at school. Does a better job than her hydro flask! My only complaint is that you have to double check for leaks from the lid. Sometimes it doesn't seal just right and you have to take the top off and put it back on. But it does end up sealing with out leaks! Sometimes it just takes 2 tries!! Not enough of an issue to not give 5 stars tho!

FOUR STARS - 98% leak proof
PROS The water bottle has very good insulation properties, and the aesthetic design of the bottle is minimal. The locking feature adds peace of mind. This water bottle is quite easy to clean as well. CONS 98% leak proof: For almost all circumstances, the bottle is leak proof. However, I noticed that when it's upside down, and gets shaken hard, small drops of liquid will emit from the mouthpiece area. Small mouthpiece: When the bottle is full or nearly full, liquid from inside the bottle has trouble coming out of the mouthpiece at a decent rate. This happens despite the unique air vent within the mouthpiece. Avoidable when you don't fill it close to the top (leave 1-2cm gap) Opening drops: When you open the bottle, the top springs open. There will always be a tiny amount of fluid (<0.5mL) from the top of the cap (rubber part) that has liquid on it, which goes flying in the opposite direction when you open the bottle. Price: I bought the bottle at about $45 CAD, which is slightly expensive especially compared to other bottles like Nalgene. For this price, I'd hoped that at least 2 of the above "issues" would not be present. OVERALL I wish that Zojirushi comes out with a improved design that addresses some of the cons I mentioned above. However, I am still satisfied with the bottle overall, hence the 4 star rating. Note: Zojirushi is a Japanese company, and I expected this bottle to be from Japan. However, this bottle was made in Thailand.
