Does the job. Could be improved.

This is for shoulders only, as stated. As such, it is a somewhat better fit than the Universal (more versatile) hot/cold packs which fit the shoulder and other areas. I would like to see softer and more sturdy hot/cold packs which go inside the wrap. The ones that come with are the typical ones. If used correctly, the 'should' last awhile but they are easy to burst in the micro if they get to hot and expand too much. There may be some other brand around for the packs. I like that the wrap holds two packs which covers the shoulder well. I don't like the neoprene-blend material as much as some of the other shoulder wrap brands I've tried. At first, it had an unpleasant odor, but left to the air, it was gone after 2 days. So, as much as I like the materials of some of the other wraps better, I came back to this one because it takes two standard sized ice/hot packs and in general, it fits well. Some say it's hard to put it on an injured shoulder, but if you get in on and fit it once, leave the strap in place, the next times are easy. Hope it helps.

Big and bulky

Too big of a wrap to function. Might be better for a man. Size wise!

More of a unitasker than expected

Great for what it is. Bought assuming it could be used in a variety of ways, but hasn’t been the case. I get tension headaches and hoped this could go over my center back - not without feeling like I’m being choked it can’t. It’s really only good for actual shoulders. Also kind of annoying to put on by yourself if your shoulder hurts.

Gave me the cold shoulder (in a good way)

This was a mini life saver when I was diagnosed with “Frozen Shoulder” - and helped bring down the pain after physical therapy. Would have given it a 5 star but one of my ice packs popped (and I’m not rough with it). I gotta find a replacement ice pack - 3M Hot/Cold pack that measures 4" x 10"

Manufacturer error?

Velcro on one of the straps that wraps around your chest is sewn in the wrong direction. Not sure if this is how it's supposed to be and calling company for answers is useless returning

Great product, highly recommend

Purchased for my husband when he had first shoulder surgery. Great product. We replaced freezer inserts with better quality ones by ACE but the sling was wonderful. He used (and still uses since 2nd surgery) daily. Would highly recommend!

Good for occasional (heat) use

I only bought this for using because I needed a heat wrap, so that's what my review is based off. This does the job for the occasional use. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and have a need to use this 1-2x/day, almost every day. The microwaving of the gel packs is a bit of a hassle, when you have to use it as often as I do. It can take a few minutes (start, stop, spread gel throughout, repeat, up to 3 times) for me to finally get the right temperature throughout. I ended up replacing this week with an electric one.
