Nice dense foam

I used this foam roll to augment cushioning in my guitar case as the body of the guitar was not a snug fit. I cut it to size and route out the center for the guitar body and it supports the body like a well fit glove, nice and snug.

Good, thick foam

Very sturdy and dense foam. I bought 5” piece and 2” piece for project. Color for both said charcoal. The colors are not even close to the same. Thicker piece was dark gray (what I consider charcoal colored) and 2” piece was definitely black. Quite expensive.

Cushion for packaging

Purchased to use for shipping fragile item. I was able to cut the form of the item with a razor blade and safely ship item for repair.

Great in All Ways

I bought the black 1"x30"x72" roll to adapt a large, generic carrying case to safely transport a table-top folding podium. This foam unrolled flat immediately with no waiting or weighting it down. It marked easily and cut easily with a large office/household scissors. Because I fully enveloped the contents inside the case, I wanted to attach the four sides to each other so the rectangle would hold its shape and not collapse each time I removed the podium. I thought of glue and staples but in the end opted for small zip ties which pierced easily through the foam but held tightly without ripping thought. I had enough foam for the four sides, bottom and top and some decent sized scraps left over that I've saved for future use.

Laid under the cushions of a years old couch and has made it so much more comfortable.

Varying density

We really wanted to like this foam. The good pieces were nice and firm like we expected, but we ordered 4 pieces of it and we had 3 different firmnesses. Just inconsistent.
