How to quickly load your (tight) shells
I found a much easier way to load your shells. Get a screwdriver with a handle the same width as your shells. Push the handle from the bottom of the holder through the top so about 1/2 inch is showing. Now, mate your shell with the exposed handle and from the top do a 'push and screw' motion. Done! takes 5-10 seconds. Hope this helps.

It works really well, excellent for the money.
I use these in competitions and like them so much I have 3. They don't loosen up like so many I've had in the past. Very sturdy, with a large belt for wearing over a coat if you need to. When you first try to put shells in it, it's very tight. Use your fingers to open it up and work the first shell in. It will loosen up over time, but never so much that shells fall out. Very happy with this product!

Very happy with this
I love that this can be worn as a belt or over the shoulder bandolier. The stretchy part that holds the shells in is very tight, giving me hope that they won't be stretched out any time soon. I loaded every other just in case. Great quality for the price.

WILL fit 12 gauge
Maybe other reviewers got belts with smaller loops, but mine does accommodate 12 gauge shells. It is a tight fit and you have to get the right angle and push hard. Loops seem a little stiff. Not sure how long they will retain their elasticity. Buckle is likewise stiff and requires a good deal of force to open. Wish their was a sliding elastic loop to hold the excess belt length but hey, $6. Some may not like how snug the loops are and the difficulty in getting the shells in, but I don't mind. Better than the other way round and having your ammo falling at your feet when you need it most.

Roll and pinch
When you load 12g shot shells, stick just the edge/corner of business end of shot shell in the loop, pinch the loop with thumb and shot shell and press into sleeve. The sleeves are tight but single stitched the webbing for the belt belt is typical Allen quality, which is good, nothing to remark or brag about but adequate. I feel the failure point would be the plastic buckle, it is a decent plastic but thin enough to break if stepped on. For this reason keep the buckle together/clasped to give the belt a better chance of surviving a misstep. For the money perfectly adequate not extraordinary.

Good belt at the right price
Purchased for 12gauge shotgun shells and I thought this is going to be difficult to load. The first 5 shells loaded into the belt were the hardest. By the 10th shell you get a better idea how to slide them into the loop more efficiently. I was able to fit all 25 loops with 12gauge shells. Durability is still a question that will be answered over time and I really don't have a clue on how long this belt will last. My last belt would not hold anything due to the loops were stretched out. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

Good quality, runs small
Got this for my son for part of his Halloween costume. It barely fit around his waist. Very small. But the durability and material seems strong and sturdy.

Holds 12 ga shells tight
Nearly impossible tight loops for 12 ga shells, but price was right so I had to give a try. I finally came upon a solution that involved first inserting a document highlighter. Then I was able to push the highlighter out of the loop with the shell. Once inserted - and as long as the elastic material holds up - the shells are held fast. Removing shells by hand is not a difficult task.

Good quality shell belt
Great value for under $8 (I bought this as an add on item for $8). Shells do fit snug as I've read in the other reviews, but you can shove them in and they wont fall out. I recommend this belt. I would buy a 2nd one at the original price of $8. I keep a shell in every other loop and use it as a bandoleer

Good quality belt really tight for 12g but will stretch I'm sure

Great quality for the price. Strong elastic!
A great ammo belt. I can't wait to use it hunting. Until then I will not be leaving it filled with ammo as not to damage the elastic. Holds ammo VERY tightly. Tabernac!

Good and worth it
Yea it’s tight but you can fit 12 gauge shells in it. I was able to get all 25 in so can you! For $7 it was definitely worth it, you don’t want shells falling out and this work perfectly
