Very sturdy and smooth

I baked the perfect pineapple upside down cake in this tube pan. I bought two tubes so I could double my baking efficiency. I know these tubes will be long featured in my kitchen.

Batter leaks out

The center piece does not fit snugly. Batter leaks and adheres to bottom making it difficult to remove cake without damage

So far, IT DOES NOT LEAK. Returned others that leak.

Love that it does not leak but haven't used It for baking. I just washed it with soap and water, and no leaking. Wish there were more baking pans with lock that do not leak.

Disappointed

Made an angel food cake..turned upside down...stuck to centre..recipe said do not spray if coated...sides came out well but the centre stuck...I washed and dried thoroughly. Tried one more time still same thing, have to send back....ruined both cakes

Lovely tin and easy to clean

I've been wanting one of these tins for years and I'm pleased to finally try it out. I thought it sounded quite small from the measurements but it's actually come in at a decent size and depth. First impressions are that it looks solid and is great quality. Where it's in two pieces, the tin is much easier to grease than most others. Where the tin has a wide base, the cake didn't come out that tall, which I had expected it to. Having said that, it's gluten free, so that might have had something to do with it. Also, I have a counter top oven and it fits perfectly in there. Once my cake had cooked, I took it out of the oven and turned it upside down onto a cooking rack. I'm pleased to say it came out in one piece although there were a few bits that had stuck to the bottom. Having said that, the cake was very moist. Where the base meets the bottom, it looks like the cake mixture would leak through, but I had no problems with this. Overall, it's a great tin and easy to wash.

Angel Food Cake

I don't have the patience to make angel food cake from scratch (also, 12 egg whites in homemade recipe, yikes) and I haven't made it in decades. I took a chance on Amazon's tube cake pan and I am pleasantly surprised. It is only a nine cup but it worked fine with the Betty Crocker angel food cake mix. I didn't have a bottle to invert the tube pan onto but the box said just lay tube pan on its side and it worked find (i.e., cake didn't deflate). Made whip cream from aquafaba, sliced up some strawberries, raspberry jam in the middle and voilà, Angel Food Cake for my family !

quality nake and easy to clean

I used to use a 6 inches aluminium one for Angel cake or chiffon cake however the prblem with it is that I have to hand wash it as it will form a layer of oxidant on top if it goes into dishwasher. As a person who hate hand washing, this problem really makes me avoid making this type of cakes from time to time. With this non stick angel cake pan, I can make a bigger cake and easier to clean thereafter. The material is very good in quality, the Heat is very balanced in the oven as you can tell from the outcome. I really like it.

Non-stick cake tin!

This angel food cake tin is made of non-stick carbon steel and has a central post on a removable base that lifts the cake out easily. Although the description says it’s 23cm, I’ve measured the base at 21cm and the top 24cm. It’s a nice piece of bakeware and as it’s 10cm tall I’ll be using it for a lot of cakes and breads too.
