Nice and sharp cutter blade

I do a lot of packaging, and I lost my tape gun, so I ordered this. Of course, I found my old tape gun after it arrived, but I am not going back. This has a very sharp serrated cutter blade, so that all I have to do is twist my wrist slightly, and it cuts the tape. The old one required a lot more effort. It is very fast and efficient. I was worried that this size might feel too small, but it doesn't. I can make boxes a lot faster with this.

Easy to use

It’s a good tape gun. Not loud and the tape usually doesn’t slip out. Cuts well too. Nothing bad about it. Gets the job done. It’s been a life saver with our recent move.

Packing tape gun good for most jobs

As a part-time warehouse worker and Etsy store owner, I've gotten to know a lot about packing. This tape gun has a lot of excellent features that make it much better than anything else I've tried in the price range (and I've tried a lot). It fits a 'standard' roll of tape with no problem. The tape stays put and doesn't slide around. The tension knob is responsive and allows quick and easy adjusting of how much friction there is on the roll of tape as it rolls off. The clear plastic thing is at exactly the right angle for the blade and it cuts easily by changing the angle of the gun rather than having to twist and tear. It's fast and easy to load a new roll of tape with a spring to move the flap out of the way. The gun is light enough that it doesn't cause wrist strain with long use. Where it loses stars is the handle. The handle is too long - as if it's designed for a man's hand... but the handle is also very thin as if it's designed for a small grip. It feels like it's is at that point of compromise where it won't fit anyone's hand well. If there could be a bit more of a lump at the bottom of the handle, it would reduce the chance of the gun sliding out of smaller hands. But on the whole, this is a great tape gun. I would recommend this to new and experienced packers as well as for home use.

Perfect addition

Can’t recommend this enough. Very easy to fix parcel tape to item. Makes applying of tape so much easier. Thus the job so much faster

People.....it DOES have teeth!

Thought I needed an engineering degree to put this together, like the cheap plastic one I bought years ago. This one is easy- peasy - took a couple of minutes and it is very sturdy. Shame that some didn't read the instructions and pictures and sent it back - it DOES have teeth - you just have to pull the tiny blue blade cover off like it shows. Those teeth are strong and it works well. Actually it would have been nice to have a guard for those teeth when storing - the blue thingy doesn't go back on again - and I don't want to push it....I'll end up shredded.

Handle is a bit flimsy, but great product.

***For those saying the blade is dull*** There is a blue cover on top of the blade (as seen in image 1) remove this coverto reveal the blade, be careful as it is very sharp!!! This tape gun works amazing and I have had no issues with it. My only complaint is that the handle is a hollow plastic and is a bit flimsy. However it stil does the job very well.

Does not work well at all

This tape gun will not keep the tape in line with the roller. It strays from its path and gets tangled in the cutter. When trying to cut the tape, the cutter bites into the card board box, sometimes right through it. Not money well spent at all...
