Not bad for 10 bucks

Smash it, pry with it, chip with it, use it as a screw driver,...whatever.. its cheap and it can take the abuse! Buy it you won't be upset!

Great for repointing

Great chisel for brickwork and repointing. I just sharpened it a little, but overall I would recommend it to my friends and buy it again if needed.

Most used of my chisels

I am removing bad red brick from the front of my home and this was my go to chisel for removing debris from the back inside corners of the removed brick. Very durable. Looks like it will last forever.

Can’t use it with a tip like that

The tip of this chisel (which is the most important part of any chisel) is not even properly formed to be usable. I am not sure how and where the cutting width was measured at the factory (which is also not clear where it was manufactured from different labels on the tool) when it’s stated as 3/16” chisel.

Not Dasco brand

I ordered this tool twice and both times received a Bon brand (made in China) tool rather than the Dasco brand (made in USA) tool. There are currently a few other listings on Amazon for the same Dasco 476 tool - if you care about getting Dasco brand I would try one of those listings (or at least avoid this one).

A Good ToolTo Have

This is a good tool for getting old mortar out from between bricks. I don't know how you would get by without one if you're doing any kind of masonry repair.
