A little small

The gloves are well made and fit very snugly. I ordered the extra large just to be safe because my hands are just under large size. Elderly slender hands. The snug fit and padding in the palm area is just right for shooting gloves because modern polymer frame pistols have a very aggressive rough surface that is somewhat painful for my old thin skin. Order a size too large and they should be about right. Worth the money.

Well made but only lighly padded

I'm glad I bought them but the padding is thin compared to some gel-pad-insert cycling gloves or the old Pachmayr Decelerator half-finger shooting gloves that are no longer manufactured. These will likley reduce the sting of shooting a large caliber handgun somewhat but not drastically. They have the padding in all the right places. Most buyers will use the Med/Small - the smaller of the two sizes, & they.ll fit tight The Lg/Xl will be loose unless you have a large hand and the fingers too long unless you have very long fingers. The M/S fit tight so we'll se how long the stitching holds.

Product was what I needed. Comfortable for shooting and fit well, but the stitching on the cuff of one glove pulled away the second time I wore it. It just ripped out as I opened the Velcro strap to remove the glove. UPDATE: An email to Caldwell resulted in a speedy response and replacement. All they asked for was a photo of the defect. I have updated them to 4 stars for their customer service.

Value, decent glove, tight fit

The gloves are pretty well made. Made a tad less finished than high high priced gloves but a very good value. They are L/XL so packaging says. I say M/L. I typically wear a L in 90% of my gloves. These are tight. But they are stretchy enough to be form fitting. Wearing them during dry fire drills gives me mixed results. I need more work with them. Color is nice. Dexterity at the finger tips is very good. You can swipe a phone if needed. Good padding in the palm but I cannot speak to its effectiveness yet. The gloves are not built for warmth but I figure in summer use they are going to hot - but the material seems breathable. We’ll see. For what I need them for which is occasional use in particular cases, they will work and the price makes them a decent value.

Good shooting gloves...

Well made shooting gloves, but like a lot of comments here, the fingers are way too long for any normal sized hands. Kind of pain if you use them for shooting trap with an over/under. That excess makes it a bit weird to grab rounds out of the pouch and load to the chamber. Perfect for that person with extraordinary finger length. Bring that finger length in another 3/4" and these would be 5 stars.

VERY WELL MADE

Overall, very nice gloves. Very soft and comfortable. The only thing I have a problem with is that my thumbs and pinky fingers are way shorter than the glove manufacturer thinks they should be. That is the only reason for the rating of 4 stars.

Long pinky finger, nice gloves!

Nice gloves, good material , feel well made. As other reviews have mentioned the pinky seems unusually long, my whole hand is great, both sides, with the exception of the pinkie on both sides. Doesn't affect my use of the gloves, I still like them.
