Inside pouch not attached

I am returning this satchel because the inside pouch is not attached to the outer pouch in any way. That was not clear from the photos or the description. I knew one could separate the two and carry the inner pouch on its own. But I thought there would be a couple snaps holding the pouch in place in case the entire satchel tipped over or I dropped it. The product was just too expensive to keep with such an unsatisfactory element to its design.
