Durable and easy to care for.

We’ve had this for about 4 years and it’s still going strong with kid number 2. Been washed a million times and no major wear and tear.

Good mattress protection

Water proof/resistant mattress protector- I used this for overnight potty training as our cribs were converted to toddler beds. I washed it first (cold water wash, then in dryer with other clothes on normalcy left) and it survived the dryer without shrinking. While the mattress protector isn’t soft, it does the job & frankly who needs it to be soft when it’s role is to be above the mattress and under the fitted crib sheet. We’ve had a few big accidents so far and it’s kept things dry underneath. I “double make” the bed (mattress, mattress protector, fitted sheet, 2nd mattress protector, 2nd fitted sheet) and it still fits with that added layering. It seems pretty waterproof though I haven’t tried pouring a gallon of water over it (maybe in that scenario it’s only water resistant), but my 5yr old’s full bladder was enough to make me give a good review of this!

definately water proof

when you wash this, since it plastic on the inside and terry cloth outside, it is best to wash turn wrong side out so the plastic is facing out and have 2 people shake it up and down which gets the water off that is lying on the inner plastic. i then tumble dry the protector. i do take it out of the dryer a couple of times to rearrange what parts which are still wet to make sure it is all dry at the end of the cyce.

Effective

We had a few mattress protectors that zipped over the entire mattress but the zippers broke quickly after a few washes. Liked that this doesn't have zippers, and it has held up in the wash and has protected the mattress from accidents. Not padded or very soft but since it's covered with a sheet it doesn't really need to be. Overall happy with this product.

Good fit!

I put this on a very nice used crib given to me to use when my grandchildren come to visit. I measured the mattress to determine the size needed. This one fit well with a little extra room. I have not had a need to test it, thankfully but I am not concerned. It appears to be good quality.

Shrinks a little

This is overall great, but it did shrink a little in the wash (and I didn't use the dryer). Just be prepared for that. It was a little hard to get on the mattress after the wash, ad it wasn't snug at all before.

Used for dog bed and provides security during car rides

I actually bought this to cover the mattress on my dog’s car bed (on the mattress but under the cover) to protect her mattress during car rides. She gets car sick. But luckily she hasn’t had an incident in the car since we purchased it so I can’t really speak to how well it works water/stain resistant wise, but I love the security knowing it’s there.

This is a good mattress protector and we still use it, but it annoys me bad that there’s such bad pilling after every wash
