Great little tool for small garden
This is a great little tool for my small herb garden of 4-5 things. It is easy to use and is very sharp. I do with the locking mechanism was a bit stronger as it seems it may break pretty easy but it has been good so far. The holes on it for stripping the herbs works great and no issues.

Good, can be improved.
I like the chopping function more that the stem stripping holes. It’s now my go-to tool for chard and parsley prep. However, both edges should be edged with whatever it is they used. The bare edge is uncomfortable in the hand, it digs into the skin. Also the small metal piece over the hinge sometimes locks the device during use.

No longer automatically opens
I loved this device when it arrived. It was sharp and cut through my mint and basil. As time passed though it no longer automatically opens on it's own. No signs of rust. Nice product.

Whether it's worth it depends on how you're going to use it.
I like this thing - and don't. The little safety latch is pretty much useless, which makes it not so safe to carry in my foraging bag, which was the main reason I wanted it. It's a bit flimsier than I'd hoped, and after being in my foraging bag with nothing but herbs, it doesn't want to close/cut easily - but that may be at least partly from being used to cut some herb stems that were a bit woodier than they should have been. The metal also kinda digs into my hand, using it. So, for taking it out in the field, to forage... not so much. But, I bought 2! The second one, I've kept in the kitchen, and only use it on herbs that have already been readied for the kitchen (all woody stems, thorns, etc. have already been removed, and only lighter use, rather than field use and storage), and it's in great shape, though it does still dig into my hand. It needs the green plastic guard to be on both sides.

Horrible Chopper
I should have trusted the reviews when I bought this. Please trust this review before you buy. I love the look, and the idea of if. I loved it when I saw it on a gardens magazine, I just bought it here because it was cheaper. When it arrived I realized the first thing, it is bigger in person, so unless you have large hands, they might be a bit uncomfortable. They shears part is not sharp at all, which wouldn't be a problem if they were closer together but imagine cutting paper with scissors that have a huge gap in the middle, the paper would just fold along the gap and it would take forever to cut. Now replace that paper with a leaf stem and you got a recipe for damaged plants. Basically, they shears are a worthless piece of metal. The lock to the shears is extremely horrible, it is a small, triangular piece of metal that flips open all the time! I still rotate it over but in truth, I have to put the shears in between two pieces of pressure so they don't pop open and I accidently hurt myself. The only reason I did not return them or have thrown them away is because my partner uses the herb stripper part of them. As an herb stripper it is great, we particularly love passing some cilantro through it. That is the only worth while function for this thing.

Diverse in herb size stems & works fairly well overall
Works well to strip herbs with a woody or firm stems. Has very diverse size options for stripping. Does not do so well on stripping tender herb cuttings or with cutting herbs from your garden. This is the first one of these I’ve ever purchased so not too bad for my first purchase.

Wanted to love this, but...
I thought this was such a great concept and I wanted to love it. However, when holding it in my hand to cut with it, the bottom side is all metal and rather sharp, and hurts my hand. I glued on a couple of little pads there, but it's not ideal. I used it on rosemary, which has a rather woody stem and takes a bit of force to cut. Perhaps it would be less uncomfortable to use it on a different herb, such as my chives. Then again, my kitchen shears do really well for both tasks.

Si può fare a meno di comprarlo
Il prodotto mi è arrivato con la lama malfunzionante e sinceramente non taglia chissa che. Diciamo che è un prodotto che se ne può fare a meno.
