Easier to throw than regular frisbee. My dogs gums don’t bleed from hard plastic edges like other frisbees.

Totally missed the aerodynamic design of a Frisbee!

The Chuckit! Lite Flight totally missed the mark and is almost dangerous to your dog. The ChuckIt! Paraflight Flyer should actually be named "Lite Flight". It is lighter, more "air floatier", has a bottom that "cups" the air better, is more stable and forgiving on throws. It has a soft foam ring that won't harm your dog's teeth. The only downfall is durability. These so called "Lite Flight" suck, they do not have enough of a "under cup" to capture air, thus have no stability and the thrower must counter-act "veering off" (left or right) at pre-throw, very unforgiving (you might as well throw a ceramic plate). Though maybe more durable, it flys too fast (because it doesn't have the principles of a Frisbee, "undercarriage air capture"... cupping of air) and the internal ring plastic is very hard which may harm dogs tooth at catch, especially in colder weather where the plastic would harden even more. Chuckit! You want a better flying disc? Use a dense foam ring covered by the canvas (for durability) designed with a more aggressive "undercarriage cup" (to capture more air) so it "air floats" like a true Frisbee (design would probably float in water also due to foam). You're welcome.

Boxers only Frisbie choice

We tried every frisbie on the market and this is the only one our Boxer will use. The outside ring is soft and doesn't hurt her mouth when catching. Downside is that...the outside ring is soft..therefore it wears out and shreds after a few weeks. Our Boxer plays frisbie 3-5 times a day for about 20 throws each so the use is pretty heavy. We are on a subscription plan so we don't run out and watch for deals because they are expensive.

Excellent quality but flip side is they’re too heavy for indoor use

Very good sturdy durable product. I’ve dinged it a little bit on toughness only because it’s a little too thick for use inside the house. The lighter floppy flyers we use inside - they can’t really hurt anything, but my dog ruins them quickly. Thought these might last longer b/c they are better made. They do last longer and are MUCH better quality but the consequence is they are not practical for indoor use because they’ll knock pictures off the walls and cups off countertops, etc. the thinner ones are lower quality but bounce off everything easily. We keep it outside and that’s a pain because my border collie keeps bringing it in for us to toss while we’re watching TV.

Soft Dog frisbee

I have a Australian cattle dog , who plays frisbee 3 times a day . I use a soft /lite frisbee 75 percent of the time because of that . If you are going to use a soft frisbee, you should train your dog to catch the frisbee, bring it back and softly give it back to you . Dog frisbee’s are not chew toys . The best choice of a more durable , excellent flying dog frisbee that is softer . Is the yellow Hyperflite Softflite frisbee. It is still a hard frisbee, but the softest one in me opinion. You still can’t let the dog have it as a chew toy. Also , never pull the frisbee from the dog . Make them drop it .

This is great for our dog to play in the yard. He did start to chew on it so it has a small hole in it now. But he's a puppy. It flies well.

Badly flawed product that it far too easy to break

Terrible product. Lasted precisely one session before the plastic ring came apart. Much worse than other chuckit dog discs.

Great size for small dogs- Not very durable.

It's the perfect size for my small shorkie however he had holes in it within a few days and they've now gotten fairly big. For the $6 I paid for it, I'm not upset but it's not very durable. It feels like the ring is made out of a foam or similar material to a pool noodle. I'll likely order another one as my dog LOVES it, just don't expect it to last forever or be an extremely durable toy. If your dog is any larger than a shihtzu or yorkie I wouldn't buy this- unless your dog is very gentle with toys.

Great for indoors

This frisbee-like toy does not go very far so it is great for indoors. However, it does not throw like a traditional frisbee...perhaps due to the materials and the design (stiff ridge with softer flexible material in center). When you throw ..it is somewhat unpredictable...and fun for dog. My dog is also an aggressive chewer so this frisbee will not last long. It is made of a very coarse fabric with a stiff outer ring covered in fabric. Great to throw in backpack for a smaller dog outdoors. The name "Lite" is very appropriate. Doesn't launch very far, good for small dogs and my dog will munch it up in no time. as an appetizer. Not in the same family as "Chuck Its" typical indestructible products.

Très déçus

Mon Yorkshire rapporte cet objet seulement dans la piscine et après 1 mois il était déjà déchiré. Imaginez s'il avait joué avec à l'extérieur de l'eau. Il y a d'autres articles similaires très solides et un peu plus dispendieux mais vraiment supérieur en tous points. Je ne le recommande pas du tout.
