Great for water sports
I've been using this strap while bodyboarding or paddle boarding and it works great. It is a little big but I dont mind. I've lost a number of pairs of glasses in the surf. This tightens pretty well and allows the glasses to float if they fall off.

Working with Skinny-Armed Glasses
I ordered Rx Rudy Project Rydon glasses to use sculling/rowing. Since there is the occasional boat flip I needed a floating solution to protect my investment. My experience is not similar to other reviewers in that the Chums (for now) snugly fit the super skinny arms of the glasses. There are the end sections that slide far up the arms, then a gap where the "tube" is empty so it fits comfortably by your ears. I'll update as the product ages and after I fall in the water next. I honestly did not expect these to work with my glasses, so I also ordered the Pilot Fish No-Tail (looks secure but doesn't float). I thought that something secure would be all it could get, and hoped that would keep them on whenever I fall in the water. Turns out the Pilot Fish is not usable with the skinny arms of my Rydons. I tried the Pilot Fish on another pair of glasses, so maybe I stretched out the pieces that grip the glasses, but they are short sections with very little surface area for gripping. Actually, I suppose the gripping area is similar on the two products, but the Pilot Fish installs only at the very end of the arms of the glasses, so the grips don't have far to travel before they are off completely. The Chums seem far more secure for someone planning to end up in the water.

Classic that still works fine
Old school sunglasses float that works. Stands the test of time. Will allows have a set of these on my shades when in or near water. 2 years ago went on a canoe float. Forgot I had my sunglasses on and back flopped into the river. Glasses were instantly ripped off my head and sank. Good bye glasses. Same float a friend had a pair of Oakleys sink to the bottom. This would have saved both.

Does the job
Floats my plastic prescription shades. Wish I’d had it when a kid knocked my previous pair off my head into 10 feet of ocean water.

Chums Glass float sunglass retainers work okay
I bought the yellow version on Amazon, but already use the red, black, and royal blue on other glasses. These retainers work well if you were sunglasses while around water, and they will keep you from losing your shades if they fall in the water. I use them on Oakley Monster Dog frames, but they also fit my Oil Rigs, jackets, and any other glass. The only problem with this product are two things: 1. Chums website says they are MADE IN USA.........They are not, made in Taiwan. 2. The end material that is tucked in the rubber grommet on each end tend to pull out when pulling the retainer off your temples. You can easily tuck the material back in the grommet and everything is fine, it just seems a bit unfinished. I've only had that problem on one pair of chums, and I have five pairs of these retainers. They clean easily and are long enough to not choke you. I recommend them for any watersport enthusiast.

I feel like these should come with a mullet
I feel like these should come with a mullet, but my desire to not loose my prescription sunglasses on the water outweighs my desire to not look like a nascar fan. The diameter of the foam inside that floats is a little big and they don't really fit naturally so they look kind of dumb, but again: they won't make you look cool but they will save your expensive glasses. I'm out there to catch fish, not girls.

Safety net for kayaking didnt try the floating portion
Purchased for kayaking just in case. They can be synched up or left hanging the portion that attaches to the glasses is a bit tight and makes them sit wider but it's a good trade off if you're worried about losing your glasses into the deep waters of a river or lake. Didn't try out the floating portion but I'm glad to have the added security.

Not very well thought out
The sleeves that go over the arms of your sunglasses aren't tight enough for most sunglasses so they easily slip off if you are hanging your sunglasses from your neck. Tried 3 pairs of sunglasses all with the same effect. If you sunglasses with large arms I could see these working but 1 star for also not accepting returns.

Useful and great visibility
I love watersports and everything about water, so i purchased this for my son and myself. My son just lost his rayban corrective sunglasses at one point on our waverunner, for his second pair i purchased this and tested it before I gave him the keyfob. It floats and highly visible.

Good quality, didnt fit properly and not actually yellow
The product is nice quality, it kept my glasses floating and is nice materials. Didnt like how its a neon yellowish green and not an actual yellow. Also the size chart said it would fit my ray bans but didnt fit, were too tight but I was able to force them on Good product, just make sure you like the color and the size is good.

Not described as ordered and totally wrong size
I'm unable to return this product. First not as described at all. Secondly it is child size which I did not order. This would fit around the neck of an infant or very small child. The part that attaches to the eye piece is rubber and only fits one type of lens. Disappointed I cannot return. Bad business practice.

Works for my Oakleys
Works good for my Oakley m2 xl’s Better to wear these than let your glasses go to the bottom like my last pair of Oakleys
