Workable cover
The cover barely fits the blower housing and does not fit the handles. I think it will be serviceable and will not require additional actions. but I am a little disappointed that the size listed is not accurate. Overall a good product for the price.

Worth the Wait!
Just what needed to store my snow thrower. Worth the wait. Easy to install and strong enough for garage coverage. Thank you.

I imagined it as more like a grill cover but its more like a raincoat
It's a little thinner than I thought it would be, I imagined it as more like a grill cover but its more like a raincoat. I bought it for a 22" snowblower that I leave on my deck to clear it and it fits it just fine, the elastic bottom is a plus. I dont think it would fit my 24" machine too well which while only 2" wider is a much larger/heavier machine overall. I'm a little worried about the drive and auger engagement handles eventually wearing though, I may throw a plastic cup over each before putting the cover on so that they don't have such a sharp edge on the cover. There is a built in pouch that the cover stores in but it seems like it would be a pain to fold/roll it to fit. Time will tell how well it lasts in the weather for now, this fits the bill. It was relatively inexpensive, fits well and is certainly water proof and a lot less hassle than the huge plastic bag that I used in the past.

Previous one lasted 10 years, just bought a second
I use this to cover a 30” snowblower that lives outside year-round. The last one I bought 10 years ago started getting weak a couple years ago (repairable with a bit of gorilla tape) and finally got to the point of needing to be replaced this year. 8-10 years out of a cover out in the sun and weather all year round seems pretty good to me. Elastic around the bottom was still in good shape. Would buy again (and did).

very thin material and doubtful waterproofing
I had previously used a grill cover from Lowes as a snow blower cover. It was inexpensive (~$15), constructed from moderately heavy plastic, with a soft, non-woven polyester lining. It fit pretty well. Looked like it would be pretty durable. But within 2 years, the plastic degraded from UV exposure and cracked everywhere. Even before that, the sharp points on the blower (handles, shoot) started to damage the cover. I mention this just as a point of comparison, because when this cover arrived, I was surprised at how thin the material was. No lining at all. It was so thin (and just slightly stretchy) that I at first thought it was simply a sheet of plastic with an embossed pattern, but on closer examination of an edge, where I could spot some fraying, I could see it actually was woven from fine threads. Given this, I'm pretty skeptical that it will hold up. Although if the material is tear resistant, and adequately UV resistant, it doesn't need to be thick or lined to do the job. Only time will tell. They did bother to double up on the material in a few places, such as over the shoot, which should improve the durability, but oddly they didn't bother to double up the material around the handles, which often have pointy levers and ends. If you hold the cover up to the light, you'll also see light streaming through all the pinholes made by the stitching on the seams. (Some seams span across the engine.) What's worse is that the manufacturer/importer (Classic Accessories) warns in the instructions not to use soap when you wash the cover, otherwise you will "remove the protective coatings added by the factory." Which means rain exposure is also likely to eventually wash off that coating. So I'm doubting how well it will remain waterproof and am planning to use plastic to cover the blower's engine, and use this cover to shield the plastic from UV exposure and keep it from blowing away. It doesn't feel like a $30 product. More recently I looked at other grill covers at Lowes that cost more than the original one I used, but less than this product. They used a coarse woven nylon like material - more like a canvas - and with a lining. Much more durable in appearance than this product, and what I was expecting this product to be. On the up side, it fit my compact 24" Snapper with plenty of room. I would recommend this if you are looking for a dust cover to put over your snow blower while it is stowed in your garage. Something you'll remove once in the winter and put back in the spring. It doesn't appear to be a good choice to weather protect a blower that is stored outside.

The seller deserves better
This cover is absolutely awesome! I ordered a cover from the place that sold us the snow blower. After one good gust during a nor'easter, it took flight and ended up in the woods - found by a hiker, the same day this cover was delivered. Well, the one that took flight makes a fine bike cover and I could NOT BE MORE PLEASED with this cover. It fits nice and snug and it's not made from cheap plastic. This is a quality cover for very fair $$. It's roomy enough to cover the whole unit, but it has a nice tight fit at the bottom, no way will it take flight like the old cover did. It sheds water, snow and ice. The seller deserves better because he shipped me a quality product in a very timely fashion and it took me till now to finish my review. I highly recommend this product and when I'm in need again of this type of product I'll gladly shop this seller first!

3 year review...
Asking to review a product whose benefit cannot be assessed without the test of time is meaningless. What can I tell you about the product out of the box? > It is thinner material than I would have expected. I'm storing my blower outdoors in front of my porch and it promises to get a workout. The $40 cover for my Weber grill is several time sturdier. I wish they were interchangeable. > I have an eight-horse, 2stage MTD. Any larger unit would not accept this size..... therefore it is not for ALL 2 stage blowers if it's expected to skirt to the ground. A longer unit would be questionable too. > Pulling it on is difficult... binding either on the handles or the auger cage. It has to be coaxed into place. > There are no holes or special reinforcement for handle levers. Let's see what the wind, snow, removal and replacement along with general usage does to these friction area. Ask me later. ________________________________ Although I've since had a garage built, this product stayed intact and, after practice, was easy to take off and put on. I'm glad I purchased it. Recommended.

Just bought another after 2 years outdoors
Originally purchased this cover in Aug 2019. It it November 2021 and it has developed a slight tear in it and has faded a fair bit. This cover is great for keeping the elements off your blower. I bought another to replace the old one that probably would last another season. But $50 Canadian for two years is great value and since I use it a lot( even start it in summer which means removing the cover) I have no problem spending that money for peace of mind. I have read many reviews that state this item is too tight and doesn't fit properly. This is the way you want it to fit believe me! Nice and tight so that it doesn't blow away or flap too much. I have a two stage Simplicity 24 inch thrower and this cover fits perfectly! If you have a larger blower , it will probably fit as well. The width can go more(maybe 36"?) its front to back that is tight. All you need to do is make sure that the part of the cover that has the "front" label on it, goes towards the front of the machine. Begin by sliding the back of the cover over the handles about half way to the ground. Then stretch the "front " label over the auger. Next pull the part over the handles as far down as it will go. Then pull the front as far down as it will go. That's it! The elastic bottom cinches nicely around it for a great fit! I keep my chute in the 'up' position and it still fits. Perfect for outside storage.

For the money it does the job
I saw this exact cover at home depot, but bought it on amazon it was about 10$ difference. It fits well my Club Cadet 30" 10hp, covers it well. I gave it a 4 star, because i was hopping it would have been more water resistant. Let me explain: it snow here were i live, but rained he next day... and so on for almost a week, when i went to check how it held up... to my suprise icicles were dangling for the cover, on the inside!!! I thought to myslef no big deal.. brushed them off.. but no they were stuck to the ice that had formed on the outside... so now i have a chunk of ice stuck to the cover... i brought it inside, let it melt.. luckily no rips... next time ill try to grab a picture if it happens again.

May as well be a paper bag it rips like one...
The media could not be loaded. This cover is not useful beyond 1 season. I found during the first winter it would often be frozen to the machine and would have to carefully remove it. I went to remove it this year and it completely shredded and I have owned it for almost a year. It is made of lightweight windbreaker material, its faded and it rips like a paper bag now that the elements have broken down the material. Don't waste your money on this product.

Great cover but was hoping it would last longer
Bought in 2019 and I have to look for a new one this year. 3 years isn't bad but I was expecting a little more. Full disclosure, it was left out year round and is extremely sun-bleached and ripped in several places. Pros: Great fit and keeps the unit dry. Easily fit my 24-inch two-stage snow blower right down to the ground covering to the bottom of the front of the unit and still able to tuck under the tires at the back. For the price, it is a relatively good cover. Cons: Sun-bleached and ripping in several areas and that was with taking care when covering the snow blower and easing it on. The rips occurred in locations that the wind would push it against edges on the machine (handles and chute). For the price, I suppose I may have expected too much from this cover.

simple and easy
I needed to stat leaving my snow machine outdoors as I could not get into garage after snow falls. Since I got it we have 2 storms where winds were gale force and it stayed put.. When I take cover off, machine is dry and ready to go. Caution though, you must be gentle when placing on machine, there are far too sharp edges which will destroy the cover if you just rush. For the $$$ not gonna get ballistic grade. So some TLC and all is good. Pay attention to the tabs, they indicate front, start from rear and then goes over front nicely.
