Not the same consistency as previous purchases

I've been using this exact product for years and am very familiar with how it should look and feel. Since it is sometimes hard to find in stores, I recently ordered a jar from Amazon. This one is NOT the same consistency as every other jar I've had, it's much looser and falls off my fingers before I can get even get it to my face. I watched a few product review videos, and all but one showed the firmer 'whipped' version that I am used to. There was one more recent video that matched the runny consistency of my latest jar, so I'm wondering if Dove has changed up the formula? It still works and smells as good as I expected, it's just much harder to use in the shower when it just drips off your fingers as soon as you scoop it out of the jar.

I like it! Will buy again.

It's very hydrating, smells amazing, and exfoliates well. I love the texture it's rough but not too rough and once I wash it off my skin is nice and moisturized. I've had plenty of body scrubs but this one is my favorite I'd recommend it. It also doesn't make my tub greasy like the ones I've used before. I'm hoping it also brightens my skin over time.

Pretty Darn Good.

So, one day in the shower, I noticed that my skin needed to shed a few skin cells. I'm like, yuck, I need to exfoliate. But how do you do that? What product do you use? Well, there's a lot of stuff out there! And a lot of it is probably pretty good. But this Dove body scrub? Pretty good, too. I'm giving it five stars, and here's why: Well, it works. Keeps my skin nice and smooth and flakey-free. Also, OMG the smell! This stuff smells absolutely fantastic. I've only tried this Macadamia and rice milk one, and I see there are other scents, and they probably smell pretty good too. Might try one someday, but for now, I'm happy with this one. It's the kind of scent that sticks with you all day. I walk by and people are like, "ooh, that goth girl smells good", and that's what's up in my book. But all joking aside, it is a really good product. I did find out that my local Wally World sells it too, which I had no clue about. I thought it was one of those special, rare finds. (I'm fairly new to proper skin care), but if Wally World sells it, then I don't feel as fancy as I did. My one complaint? I go through the stuff pretty fast. It's a decent sized jar, but still I seem to zip right through it. I don't think that's an issue with the product, however: more user error and a heavy hand in the jar, to be honest. I should really learn to pace myself! But hey, it's reasonably priced, so I'm not complaining at all. Go ahead and give it a try. You might be as impressed as I was. Or not. It's whatever, but five stars.

Body scrub

This stuff smells AMAZING!! It gives your dry skin a nice scrub. I love it more for its smell & wish they would make a lotion that is this same scent. I have bought it three times.

Love the smell

I typically use sugar scrubs in the shower. But I really enjoy dove products typically, so I wanted to try this body polish. I really enjoyed it. My first impression was that I really loved the smell. It's not too strong, not perfumey at all. It's a light, milky, slightly sweet & creamy scent. Smells yummy! The consistency was nice as well. It's creamy and not heavy feeling. Is alot gentler feeling on the skin than salt or sugar scrubs. And a little goes a long way. Which is nice because I am used to having to use alot more to do my whole body when I use other types of scrubs. After my skin feels clean, nourished, and it smells nice. The only thing I missed over my typically used oil- based scrubs is the intense hydration and softening. To me this would be perfect if there was a matching body oil with the same scent for when I get out of the shower! I deff recommend this body polish. It's nice and is important to exfoliate your skin.

Nice but don't exfoliate hard.. It gave minor tear on my sensitive skin

I use it weekly . Once by mistake i rubbed it on my feet little hard and it gave me micro tear. Area was little irritated. So be aware. Do it gently. But it does the job .

Good but BEWARE

The scent is relaxing, smells like coconut milk / rice milk. I can feel that the microgranules in it are effective in scrubbing all the dead skin flakes from my super dry skin. However, BEWARE: never use it on face! I absent-mindedly did it once and I ended up in the ER as the microgranules got stuck in my right eye even though I rinsed my face with my eyes completely closed. They had to irrigate my right eye to remove everything and I almost got corneal abrasions.

Watered Down Scrub

The media could not be loaded. I ordered from seller Cloudtail and expected a genuine product. This is clearly adulterated. Very disappointed. Hope other customers are careful about this. Always check product after receiving.

COUNTERFEIT!!! DO NOT BUY!!

The media could not be loaded. I got a counterfeit diluted product. Please do not waste your money. Scent is the same but highly diluted product I don't think I'll purchase it. You can check the video to see what I an talking about. I have used this product in the past and consistency is almost like a cream and not diluted like flowy water!!

Really nice product

I decided to buy some of this because (a) I love Dove products, and (b) I was hoping it might help my upper arms. I have something called “ Keratosis Pilaris”, which causes rough bumps to appear on the skin, sometimes looking like a rash. In my case it is only noticeable if the skin is touched, but it’s an annoying condition that sometimes has flare ups. So I bought this, along with a loofah, to see if it would help. And it does. While this product will never get rid of the condition, using it with a loofah or other gentle, yet slightly abrasive takes away that rough, bumpy feeling and leaves my skin feeling much softer and smoother. I’m really glad that I bought this. *Also, I agree completely with another reviewer who gave a warning about not using this on your face. I had a similar thing happen many years ago with a similar skin product, and even though I rinsed my face well, a couple of those tiny beads got in my eye. I was lucky enough to flush it out on my own, but it’s a good idea to never use anything like this on your face, and to rinse your hands well after using it.

Amazing! Go for it.

Amazing! I have used it just once but wowie! The packaging, the product, the scent - I like everything. The scent is mild but very pleasing - like a slight mix of vanilla and butter and cacao. Product arrived in good condition. This was imported in Dec 2020 and is good to go till Jun 2023. Go for it. It will give a soothing bath/shower experience.
