Just Like the Original

I was worried at first that the color was going to be too dark. It is the exact same color as the original. The magnet also holds better than the original. We just put it on so I can’t speak to the longevity of it, but am very pleased so far.

The cold once again stays in.

I was a little apprehensive when reading some of the less-than-stellar reviews, but since this item is exactly the same as I could get directly from the manufacturer, it was worth taking the chance. Rather than using a blow dryer or warm water to remove the packing kinks, I just let it sit out in a seldom-used room for a couple of days to settle in. That went well. Installation was, at first, a bit troublesome but once I figured out how to keep the edge settling into place as I went around the door, all was well. The refrigerator door now is slightly more reluctant to open due to the excellent seal of the new gasket. I like that.

It is gray and easy to install

The item I received is gray to match the original. The item description says its black which is not the case. This was very easy to install and fit perfectly. I just loosened all screws, pulled out the old seal, and installed the new one with my hands, no tools required. then just tightened all the screws. I did put the new seal out in the sun for a few hours the day before installation in order to get out any kinks or bends. I installed this on an electrolux refrigerator which uses the same seal. the door now makes a much better seal.

Replacement door seal

Seal color is gray not black as stated But color didn’t matter to me Old ones is gray Utube vid was five years old showing how to replace newer one have to remove all the screws around the door would be best if fridge wasn’t in use and remove door

Perfect Fit and Just as Expected Product

This is exactly what I expected from the product, thank you. The pain is the install. Not complicated, in fact very basic. However, be prepared to remove 30-40 small screws around the perimeter of the door. Again, not difficult, but time consuming and repetitive. Best to have a helper or at least a magnetic bit. Enjoy

It works only if installed correctly

I first installed the gasket without using a hair dryer. Some parts were twisted so ambient air got into the fridge. After heating the gasket with the hair dryer it worked fine.
