Expensive, lots of problems, company does not standby product.
Faucet has needed three "cartridges". Within six months of purchase you would turn the water on, but there was quite a delay. The first two cartridges fixed it. Then, it changed to the water wouldn't turn off right away. It took several seconds. Company sent us another cartridge, and voila! Nothing. Elkay sends us a fourth cartridge. Again...nothing. For the past year, I've gotten so used to it running for 2-3 seconds after it's turned off I've learned to account for the extra time when washing and rinsing. Now...the hot water doesn't work. The cold water works. Call company and they said "we don't make them, we just sell them". They had no idea what to do and emailed my husband the schematic. Probably will need a new faucet. It will NOT be an Elkay. This company and their products are horrible! We've had it installed around two months and this faucet is really cheaply made. It may feel substantial when you pick it up, however it already needs repair! If I have time over the holidays I plan on posting my first ever video review. The metal handle you turn the water on and off with screws in and out. I found this out because it came off in my fingers. Requiring constant adjustment is going to wear the threading and ultimately mean we will have to glue it in. Third-Now when I turn the water off it continues to run for approximately 2-3 seconds. We downloaded the specifications/schematic so my husband can take the unit apart to see what's wrong. It was such a pain to install he said to me "I'd rather take it apart, then return it and have to install it again". That is partly due to the fact that the plumbing components are in an awkward place. I can't believe something so expensive is causing us problems already. We had such a cheap faucet on prior to the renovations which looked like crap, but at least it functioned well and was easy to install. This looks nice, but seems to be crap. I'm really upset and if we have to replace it would never consider another Elkay product again.

Very happy with this faucet
Very happy with this faucet. After researching for months I settled in on this lesser know brand that has been around a long time hping they had escaped the trend of other manufactures in cheapening their products. The faucet itself is 100% all stainless steel, it really is a work of art, there is nothing cheap or lightweight and no plastic anywhere, even the hand sprayer is all machined stainless. The look is very basic but also timeless and modern, its definitely more utilitarian and less showy than other brands. As mentioned elsewhere the plumbing connections are 1/2 NPT as opposed to the more common 3/8 so plan on making a trip to the hardware store for an adapter of some sort. In my case I needed to replace the shutoff valves anyways so I just replaced the existing 3/8 shut-off valves with 1/2". My only minor gripe is that the hand spray does drip a few drops of water after its shutoff. Overall extremely happy with this pruchase.

An excellent faucet set for a great price
We purchased this faucet set for a kitchen remodel. Like most folks, my wife & I wanted a good quality product for a good price. After looking at the uninspiring offerings at the usual big box home stores, we looked in kitchen and bath specialty stores and realized it takes around $500 retail to get a stylish, sturdy, substantial, and well made faucet set. I looked on Amazon and found this promising looking set for a good price. We've used Elkay sinks in the past and were happy with the quality so I thought we'd order this set and hope it would be suitable. After installation, I've got nothing but good things to say so far. It looks great in a mid-century design. It feels well machined, sturdy, and the cartridge/lever action is smooth and precise. No leaks or drips. The spray attachment is also a substantial and well made unit with a metal hose, not the usual cheap plastic on less expensive sets. It's not too big nor too small and it has a timeless, non-trendy design that will wear well (unlike so many of the silly looking high end faucet sets that seem to be popping up lately.)

Faucet
I like to off from any position. The only thing you need to watch out for is the inlets are for 1/2 inch pipe thread. You will need to be a DIY person or bring in someone to do the work. This is not standard for the US. The handle also fell off on me, apparently when they installed the internal parts they were 90 degs off so the set screw had nothing to really grab onto. I had to pull the faucet and I drilled in a depression where the set screw would fit so it will not fall off again. It seems to work fine being 90 degs off so I left the internal parts alone.

with design flaw and potential health risk, better steer away
Do not buy this if you are reading. I bought this 3 years ago, at first everything is great. Then about a year ago the handle started to fall off like some other reviews mentioned, I constantly have to re-attach it back to the main base and push in. It is a design flaw. Last night, I discovered the end of the opening where water comes out from, has a black rubber piece meant to prevent leak, that piece is worn and when I wiped it with paper towel, the paper towel was completely black, tons of black residues coming off the rubber piece, after many wipes there is still black stuff, the rubber piece is completely decomposed! Imagine this has been in my water for how long? Who knows if it's toxic or not! And the reason I opened the tip was water flow was slow, so when opened I found tiny black rocks caught in there, probably from the water or pipe. Bottom line, this product looks good, but with design flaw and potential health risk, better steer away!

A nice faucet but ...
I had to call in a plumber because the half-inch fitting at the end of the supply lines didn't fit my three-eighths inch shut off valves. Some $375 later, the problem was solved, as the plumber had to cut the lines and use (I think he said) ball-cock fittings. It works fine, although these fittings take a few seconds to shut completely off. But it is a heavy, good-looking faucet. Why they felt they had to have a half-inch connector is beyond my grasp of How Things Are Done In The World, particularly since the supply lines themselves were three-eighths inch!
