Hard hat light
Very nice light. Serves the purpose I bought it for. Four stars . Nothing is as good as it could be. Al Austin room for improvement. I would recommend this light for anyone needing one.

Great Purchase
This is very bright, convenient to use, easy to charge (USB-C is becoming common), and a great companion to the hard hats Ergodyne sells!

Excellent Hardhat headlamp.
My husband works at a coal mine and this hardhat headlamp has served him well. It is very bright and stays hooked to his hard hat. Highly recommend.

Buy this not rechargeable type
If you’re going w/ a Klein hard hat buy this, because the battery life on their rechargeable lamps are crap (2-4 hours on low).

60191=junk 60197= very nice
60191 Hard to turn on and off with large rubber cover over switch button, feels like the first time I got to third base on a date. Internal battery contact pieces bend easily, had to go in with a small screwdriver and bend negative battery contact back out so it would make good contact. Light itself is ok. Nothing overly special. 60197 rechargeable, switches on and off easily, forget it is on my hardhat. Buy 60197, do not buy 60191

Weak hinges and too heavy for a hardhat.
Too large and heavy for a hard hat light and battery life fades fast. Second is the angle adjuster hinge on the light. It is weak and cant support the weight of itself. if you tilt your head forward, the light moves from its position. When it it flat against the helmet and you bend over and come back to standing, the light bangs on the helmet. Cheap design and cheap quality.

Great light, cheap hinge. Mediocre Battery life
The good: Love the illumination the light provides. The body is light and durable and is really handy for my job where I spend a lot of time in not so well lit places. The not so good:. Battery life is mediocre at best, but it you buy some decent rechargable AAAs to go with it, the not as advertised battery life isn't a big deal. The ugly: The hinge. It's all plastic. I used this daily for 6 months. Within the first month, the click positions lost their click, and the motion just became smooth. After about 4 months, the hinge had worn out to a point where it could not support the weight of the light. And finally at 6 months, the hinge just snapped entirely. For 28 bucks...not so bad... But for its current price of 45... Not worth it. Update. Since the hinge snapped and was no longer useful on my helmet, I used the light as a regular old handheld flashlight youkeep in a junk drawer. Well, I just went to change the batteries and the male clip that holds the retainer clip in place for the battery compartment snapped. Now it won't even stay closed to keep the batteries in place. What a disappointing piece of junk this has been. $48 bucks now?!? No way.

I really cannot recommend this light
I bought the skullerz hat and this light because they clipped together, and this light lasted about three days. Its illumination is good with its two light modes, but Inevitably while walking around in my facility I managed to hit my head on a low hanging piece of metal which took my hardhat off and broke the plastic on the light as shown. Considering how much this light cost, I really have to question the durability if a 6 foot fall to the ground could make this thing break and become a yard sale across the floor.

Wow this is insanely bright edit: power button broke
The brightest setting is insanely bright, I simulated a pitch black room with no light like my work environment on midrises with no power as seen in my picture. Time will tell how durable it is but I don't expect the light to last very long on the brightest setting. I also have the ergodyne bucket that this clips onto. Can see alot of use out of this in the future. Very small, light, compact, surprisingly bright. Unfortunately power button broke

Not made to last
I’ve purchased many of these for my staff and found that over time the adjustment ratchet gets more and more flimsy or loose. Not a long wearing item. However, the quality of the LED light is good!

Did not work
Arrived with batteries, turned it on, did not work. Put in fresh batteries, did not work. Tried again with different batteries....nothing! Now it sits in my junk drawer of useless things
