Love the look. However this teapot cannot be let to overheat. If it had a whistle it would be perfect. I forgot it and it boiled away the water and blew off the top, and the darling little hat on the lid came off because the glue holding it melted! Since it could not be repaired I bought another, just loved it that much. The design is beautiful and I Carefully do not let it overheat. Treat it gently and it is a 5 star!

Love it madly if only one thing changed!!

Great looking water/tea kettle. When I got this item, I didn't realize it came with a strainer for loose tea...yeah! bonus here. But what I was confused and utterly dumbfounded about was the fact that the pretty knob on the top which is the part you use to remove the lid, well folks, it is PLASTIC!! Not at all good. Here's why....one time, and I repeat, one time I boiled water and since this kettle has no whistle, mark two against this product, I came back to find all the water gone and the kettle very hot. The plastic know was softened and leaning on its side....What!!! so now I don' have a knob anymore that looks attractive...yes, once I removed the kettle to cool a bit, the plastic know was bent back to a somewhat usable position...it looks terrible....My recommendation is JUST GET A METAL KNOW LIKE EVERY OTHER TEA KETTLE HAS! My rating is two stars short because of no whistle and the plastic part. THANK YOU.

Works on an induction burner.

Bought for someone who isn’t too mobile. Looks good enough to put in the den atop a portable black glass top induction burner so there is hot tea whenever needed.

Very nice, better price on Amazon than other retailers that carry this. Just wish the gauge of the metal was a little thicker, but overall very nice. Includes an inner basket if you wanted to brew with whole tea leaves as opposed to just using it to heat water for tea bags.

Love the design and color a lot

Love the design and color a lot. It seems flimsy though. I expected a thicker and/or heavier gauge stainless steel so I'm not sure of its longevity.

Just ok...

Ordered this for myself and it is a bit flimsy, the lid is hard to put back on, it spills when it pours, and it is very hard to keep clean. And after just a few weeks the paint chipped off.
