Better than our Watts Premier and cheaper too!
This is an amazing reverse osmosis system. We had a watts premier system for over 8 years. We where happy with it. We paid $250 when we purchased the watts system. It did not include extra filters, filter wrenches or leak stop valve. Comparing the two systems side by side this express water system has better instructions, locks for all the fittings and everything you need for at least 1 year of service. I tested the water with my tds montior and it shows 7ppm. This is the same that I was getting with my watts system which was between a 5 ppm and 9 ppm after filter changes. We chose to replace the watts system after the faucet starting leaking and the water tank was starting to rust on the bottom. It would have cost at least $120 for a new faucet and complete filter set from watts. So replacing the system was the best option. We love our new water purifier. I will update this review if it fails prematurely.

Works great! Worth every penny
Well I took my time because it was first time installing a RO system and I always want to be thorough with anything I work on. System went in easy and without leaks except for one were water goes into system. I shut off and checked and turned out I needed to remove clip and push in the tube a tad more and re clip, no leaks now. Our beginning tap water wasn't terrible @169TDS Now the filtered water is @3TDS! Also as far as the facuet goes it's metal and the stream I though had good pressure and was about 3 times better than ice maker water on fridge. Glad I found this brand because they look to be the best bang for buck and it is quality built. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

What a deal, totally LOVE it!!!
Purchased this for dual purpose. Using for my 29gal reef aquarium and for drinking water. With the price tag on this unit plus getting a replacement set of filters (no replacement membrane) and 100gal per day rating purchasing this unit was a no brainer. I was looking at the apex but cost was so much more I couldn't justify paying almost twice as much vs the express water unit. I am not disappointed. My tap measured 186 tds and after running through this unit it now measures 9 tds. Measuring the drain waste line was a staggering 298 tds. Look around and you can find 2yrs worth of filters and a membrane for $95. Where on earth are you going to get this quality of water for that price? I don't know why I waited so long to purchase one of these. You really can't go wrong. It does require some skill to install but the instructions are very well written. My only modification was to tie the drain line in with my dishwasher drain line so I wouldn't have to drill a hole in my drain pipes. Something about that just didn't seem right to me. All in all it was a total cost of $8 extra at lowes and I was all set. Install took a little over 90min. You do have to allow about 3-4 hours to fill and empty the tank 3 times per the manufacturer before using or consuming the water. it takes about 1:15 to fill the take at my home. If you have a booster pump in your water lines make sure it does not exceed 80psi or you will blow this unit. Overall this was a fantastic purchase and install was a snap. Highly recommended!!! Update 8/27. Got my first water bill and it has not changed! I was slightly worried as it seems to be about 2gal of waste water for every gallon of RO water produced. Unit is still working perfectly and we use it for everything except washing dishes. It produces enough water that we have yet to run out during regular use. With 2 kids in the house that's a big win for this unit. As the unit has ran itself in the water produced has come down to 3-4tdi! My reef has never looked better and is thriving!!! If I could give this 6 stars I would!!!

While the directions are very clear and better than most, we had to hire someone to install it.. So it practically doubled the cost.. But it is very useful and we do like it

easy install, awesome product.
This is my second R/O system. First one was around 10 years back and had to pay a plumber, this one so much simpler, you need no plumbing skills, just the ability to read. This is about as plug and play as an RO system can get. I give it 5 stars because i really do love it that much, but have to note 2 things: 1) There are 2 red pipes. One short one with one end already connected the unit, and a longer one not connected to anything. The instructions tell you to first connect the red pipe to one place, and then to a second place, but they are referring to 2 different red pipes. If you dont first look at the water flow diagram, you might connect it up wrong (even though doing so is obviously wrong). 2). The drain pipe saddle connection. Line up the hole on the saddle/pipe to the hole you drilled in your drain pipe, sure, but it potentially can move afterwards because there is no way to keep it in place absolutely. Sure its tight and need some effort to move it, but for example, your wife putting something in the cupboard under the sink and pushing back could push the pipe round, and now you have no drainage. Other than that, great tasting water, though obviously does not taste minerally, just pure water.

GPD misleading on product page
This is supposed to be 100 GPD? But the performance data sheet inside the box says daily production for the RO10DX is only 21.89 GPD. Where is the other 78.11 GPD??? Very misleading!

Good value RO Water System
Overall a very good value Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System. Produces excellent drinking water that taste very good. Comes with clear installation instruction for most handy homeowners. Just has to be very careful not to over-tighten the connectors. They are plastic and will snap.

Waste of money
It’s been installed for about 2 weeks and I can’t get more than 1/4 cup of water at a time. The holding tank is not priming.
