decent buy for the money

Adequate

Inexpensive anchor with good holding power for it's size in rocky bottom. I carry this as a second anchor for a 20 foot cuddy cabin in an area with predominately rocky bottom. Works OK for that purpose with 10 feet of moderately heavy chain. It seems to find cracks and work in fairly well. A couple of times I've thought it was going to have to be left behind, but always managed to work it out. Best feature other than working OK is that it folds up and stores very compactly. Galvanizing is very poor. Starting to rust after just a couple of uses, but it will be a long time before it rusts enough to cause functionality problems.

They're Ok

Bought this for an 11ft Kayak, it's ok if there's rock or something for it to hang up with but if you use it in sandy bottoms it's not going to do much

Don't be fooled into believeing you need a heavy anchor for your boat

Had a 7 pound grapnel anchor for the front of the boat after researching the grapnel style anchors , forgot to tie it down one day. Thought I would go for bold and drop down to a 5 1/2 pounder for the replacement. WOW. no need for heavy anchors, holds just fine

Perfect for canoe

We attach to a lake boom by a dam, for fishing. Needed something to grab the chain between boom sections, and these were the cat’s meow. Perfect weight, easy to deploy, fold nicely. Loop for attaching rope. Good product. ????
