Thick glass

Glass is nice, and the top actually has the grooves for a cap. But the bottle does not come w/ said screw cap. And the 1 gallon mark isn’t a true 1 gallon marking at the marking so you’ll have to figure that out. 4/5 due to that.

easiest kit to start with making wine or mead. Only thing is you need to buy your own yeast.

The little cork didn't fit and fell in.

I was trying to use this to make wine and the cork didn't fit snuggly. I tried to push it into the neck far enough that it wouldn't pop out every time I tried to seal in my wine but it kept popping up. When I finally thought I had gotten it far enough into the neck it wouldn't pop out again the little bugger went INSIDE of the bottle. I can't get that thing out now and I can't use it to make wine. Which is a bummer, because I got it to make wine and the little cork looks at me from inside mocking me from my failed hobby.

Just as described, no complaints

Just received them today. Stoppers appear to hold well, not loose at all. I think this is a great deal for a good product.

truly a 5 star but i just realized i didnt get an Airlock in mine.

I used this in making mead and it is what it is, a good glass bottle. The bung (stopper) was a good rubber stopper. it is a little slick when wet so you may need to completely let it dry and the inner lip of the jug dry else it may slowly squeeze up. I dont find this to be an issue with the bottle or stopper as it is just a different type that requires attention to be paid. I didnt realize until Just Now that i did not receive an airlock with mine. Its been months since i purchased it and i have extras of my own... just something you should check to be sure is in yours when you buy it. I Would recommend this

Good quality

It's definitely hefty but that's just good quality. I'll be buying more in the future for my mead making hobby.
