Nice but Huge!

Bought this jacket for my son who usually wears a men’s medium. After reading reviews I purchased a small and it is still huge on him. It doesn’t have the feel of a regular rain jacket. It feels much heavier and stiffer. However, it does look like good quality. I had to return this jacket due to size.

Quality

If you're looking for a good quality, semi-durable, affordable waterproof clothing, then you found the right gear. I bought these to wear with my work clothes knowing that they'd take a beating (and beating they took) and keep on working. They kept me dry and comfortable enough to get my job done. Overall they are not the most stylish, but they are very function for what they are needed to do. They are worth the buy.

Large?

Seems OK, haven't used it in the rain yet but the sizing is pretty far off. I wear a size ''Large'' in most shirts and jackets. This ''Large'' is bigger than any ''Extra Large'' I've ever owned. Must be the ''new'' sizing to make fat ass people feel better about themselves. I'll offer another review once I've used it in the rain.

Deciding on what size to order

I used the size guide chart shown on the listing---according to the measurements I needed a small---I wanted to order a medium as I was worried the small would not fit. The small ended up being perfect so I highly recommend to go by the chart. I am 5'10" and around 150 lbs. The jacket is still a little roomy however that is perfect for layering clothes this winter. Frogg Togg used to sell a model called the a/p classic which I can't find anymore and this jacket seems to be a perfect substitute so far.

Excellent rain jacket

This rain jacket is great, it has a zipper and snaps to help keep the wind from going through the jacket itself. It has a very lightweight hood that could cinch all the way around your face if you would like to. I chose to give it four stars because my only complaint is that it’s just a little bit stiff. It’s very crinkly when you put it on and makes a lot of noise when you’re walking with it. I’m sure as the months progress it will break in and feel much better. If you’re looking for a lightweight waterproof rain jacket? Then this is definitely the way to go if you don’t mind it being a little stiff for the first few months, then I highly recommend it.

Pretty Good - See Review for SIZING explanation

The fabric is interesting, kind of rigid. Jacket seems like pretty good - not great - quality. I’m really only interested in rain protection and the hood which seem like they will work fine. The sizing in these jackets is WAY off. For context, I’m 6 ‘3 and about 250 lbs. I would normally wear either XL or 2XL. I bought a large jacket and it fits perfectly. Rule of thumb, go (at least) one size down from a t shirt that fits comfortably.

Not to my liking

I definitely didn’t like it. Material is weird. Kinda like a potato sack. Size was way too large. I don’t recommend. This product.

Waterproof

Husband loves it. Yes, it is basically made of the same stuff you wrap houses in to keep them dry during construction BUT that is literally the point of this jacket- to keep you dry. Great work jacket for someone working outside in the rain during winter, tough enough to hold up against snags on lumber etc.

cover your car

This jacket was huge. The size isn't even close, ordered an XL I could have covered my car with it.

Works well, but is huge.

I'm 6'2 190 lbs 44"chest. I wasn't sure what to order and ended up getting large as usual. It's massive, fits like a XXXL. Prob meant to fit over riding gear. Quick and painless refund. Ordered medium instead, bit of space to layer for warmth. Haven't had heavy rain yet but ran it under the shower and seems to be working well. Will update if it fails.
