Good for cost
Used to boil crawfish. Took about 25-30 minutes to bring 40qts water to a boil in an 80qt pot. Exterior temp was about 50 degrees. Surprisingly quiet compared to a traditional jet burner. As expected the paint on the unit burned off on first use which is not a big deal to me. My biggest worry is the stability of the frame. It is noticably wobbly. I wouldn't stand on it, but should hold up my pot well enough. Don't expect it to last more than 5 years. Will more than likely rust out by then. The base on it stayed on top of my soft back yard dirt.

Not for regular pots and pans
This burner seems pretty well made. Good and rugged. The components all seem to be a pretty good quality. The instructions are not the best. Yes…I’m the last remaining human that reads instructions. So when you think you have everything connected hand right go ahead and torque the line connected to the burner to about 8’ lbs. otherwise it doesn’t seems to seat to the gas line well. And you’ll want to completely close the balance included with the burner as this is not a shutoff, rather just a form of control valve. Open your propane tank valve about three turns. light the burner and then adjust the flame with the red control valve. Also the control operates backwards (right - open, left - close). I bought this as a camp stove. While it’s probably better suited as a crawfish cooker or turkey fryer I won’t recommend it for your standard size pots and pans. I couldn’t get the flame low enough to fry fish. It scorches the oil. You can try to get the flame lower but it goes out by the time you get it low enough. Probably boils water fast but that’s not what I need it for. If you need an okay burner for a big pot boil then this isn’t bad for the money but I don’t like how it operates. Give me something more like a grill.

This thing cooks!
Assembly was quick. Simply attach the legs, then connect your propane tank, check for leaks, and away you go. I dunno if I was lucky, but I didn't have to fiddle with the air intake what-so-ever. There are other burners on the market that output more heat, but compared to my stove, this thing is *incredibly* hot. I don't know how much more heat you would need for basic cooking. Maybe if you were smelting ingots or something. In the photo: My cast-iron skillet takes forever to heat and boil water on the stove, but this burner had no problem boiling water within seconds. I bought this primarily for pressure-canning. When I use the stove, it heats up my entire kitchen, so it will be nice to do that on the back porch instead.

Works really well.

Very good
Excellent value. I've bought other propane burners between $80-120 and this one for $60 is sturdier and burns cleaner. Heat output is more than sufficient as is typically of these types of propane burners.

Perfect …. I had no problem with hosing and it heats perfectly
I love how fast it is too cool with I made all kinds of things with this perfect size pot

Not very durable
Put a pot of lobster on and the legs buckled, cheaply made, would not buy it again
