Fun and easy to control

I bought this for my 5-year-old grandson to learn how to sled and he had no problems at all. It handles really well and is a great first sled

Minor Modifications, Happy Kid

As others have written, the steering wheel slides off. My wife initially assembled it, as I was out of town. Once I got home a couple days later, I took a look. It took an unusual amount of force to get the steering wheel over the locking tab. To the point where I thought I was going to break it. I filed the top of the steering post slightly so that the tab would engage the slot just as the post touched the back of the steering wheel. No issue since. My son loves having a sled he can steer.

Must have for sledding

My 4 year old son loved this. Not only was it in his favorite color, but he loved that it was a 2 seater so someone could ride with him. He did try it once alone but complained he felt the bumps too much and the plastic hurt his bottom. My only complaints are the hand brake doesnt really do much — we ended up just using our feet to stop and the price was a bit much for what it is.

Durable, room for two

This bobsled has been a blast this winter! My kids are 5 and 12 and both can ride it and steer it individually or there is room for both of them to ride it together. It has proven to be very durable and sturdy as my husband and I have both rode it as well. It is super easy to assemble. There are a few parts to snap on, then it’s ready to go. No tools are needed, it takes just a matter of moments. While this sled has been different from our other sleds as we can steer it with a wheel, but it also has a spring loaded pull up break. This has come in handy many times and prevented us from going into the cold creek at the bottom of our hill. Very thankful for this feature.

Best sled EVER!

I bought this sled super early in hopes of a long magical sledding season. Finally at the end of February it snowed. The kids spent hours sledding over the last few weeks and this sled has been AWESOME! My 5 year old serpentines down the hills and stops like a champ! I decided to race her on our basic $20 grocery store sled. I went off a 4 ft cliff and slammed into the house. I do think I was technically faster, but I'm pretty sure she is still the winner.

5/5 on packed snow. 2.5ish on powder.

Cute, easy to assemble, and easy for kids to drag. It is a bit pricey for a sled. Works perfectly on compacted snow. It's a bummer on fresh powder unless you simply pull your kiddo around.

Item arrived on time and packaged well.

I only rated it a four at this time because it was given as a gift to grandsons who live in Maryland. We are waiting for some snow to fall so it can be tested it out. I will update this review after it does. They were very excited and it was very sturdy looking and colorful in the red!

Who's Ready for A Ride

I bought this as a birthday present for my young cousin who lives in North Carolina. He is 7 years old, and the sled fits him just perfectly. Actually, it's fantastic for kids 3 and above, and older kids can ride it too. There are other color options available, but I choose with green because it's my fave. My nephew's mother advised that the sled is excellent. It stops easily and turns effortlessly. It appears to be solidly constructed and durable. The mom noted the seat is comfy and doesn't hurt your bottom when riding, as she had to test it out for herself since she is not much bigger than a child. The cost is reasonable, and I made one boy very happy!
