Bigger than I thought

We purchased this griddle for our outdoor kitchen when we go camping. Nice size. Captures grease easily and easy cleanup, and a great no stick surface

There were good and a bad

Like everything except the fact that it wasn't as big as it says. Actual cooking space wasn't much bigger than one we had. But, NOTHING will stick to this thing. So!! After using this for a few weeks. It's not that great. Wish I could send pics of it but it burns and makes it hard to clean

Very Satisfied – Excellent electric griddle

I really like this griddle. The surface gets hotter than my previous griddle, so I just need to adjust how I cook and use a slightly lower temp. Have made numerous batches of pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. I am very satisfied. The surface cleans up very well; much better than any of my prior electric griddles.

Cooks great but plug kept falling out...

Loved it once I figured out at what temp to cook things. I burned crap out of first batch . Had to turn temp down from where I cooked it on my old griddle. I tried recorded vid to show you the difference with the plug that came with this unit vs. the plug from my old unit but there is no upload button for vid or pics. The old plug went in deeper into the unit whereas the one on this Hamilton Beach 38518R Durathon Ceramic Griddle, 200 sq. in, Black barely slides into the unit. If you bump it the plug falls out. So I am returning this unit and getting the smaller Bella unit my adult kids have & see how it works. So far it is better. Bella Cord fits nice and snug.

Great product

What a cool griddle. I know you wouldn't often call a griddle cool, but this one is. The ceramic cooking surface is smooth and easy to clean. It's very non-stick on its own and heats up evenly and very quickly. Because it's ceramic, I have some concern about breaking/chipping it, so I make sure to take care when cleaning it. Other than that, I don't worry about how it'll hold up through regular use. It's great. We have griddles in the kitchen at work which have the non-stick coating. Because of that, they get quickly scratched up and lose their non-stick properties. The ceramic surface on this griddle isn't nearly as easy to scratch the surface itself is fairly thick, so even if you did manage to scratch it, it shouldn't impact the performance. As an aside, the orange color is pretty cool too.
