What a well-made, adorable addition to our train sets!

I was hesitant to spend so much on one train set item, but this was worth it. It's well-made, sturdy, cute, and will inspire lots of play for our little guy. Glad I got it!

Great finish and quality. Very nostalgic and timeless.

I was very surprised at how nice this building is. It’s sturdy and the paint is nicely done. All the wood parts fit together nicely as well. Seems better than the Melissa and Doug train items.

If you have a train lover in your life, this BigJigs Railway Station will make the perfect train station for your set! Having a station for the people to get on/off seemed to be one thing really missing from our Thomas Wooden Railway set. This BigJigs train station fills the need perfectly! This station is very sturdy. It is all one piece, except the top spire of the building, which is easily removable and makes this station a little smaller and easier to store. This station makes a great gift and is beautifully boxed. We paid $23.99 for this station 1 year ago, and it is still at the same great price today! A great value, beautiful, bright colors, nice details!! Thank you!!!

My 2.5 year old loves this! She uses it for a house for her frozen figures or dinosaurs to sleep in while they wait for a train. Works with standard wooden tracks.

Top quality, versatile - GREAT piece.

This is a terrific, versatile piece. All solid wood, with nice quality plywood used only for the thinner, painted front section (makes sense, as it's less likely to warp than solid wood.) Solid base, clear-coated, and everything is nicely sanded. On par with Brio quality, I'd say The quality is far better than any of the official Thomas & Friends pieces I've seen since Fisher Price took over a few years ago. We use it on our wooden railway as a school house, a train station, depot at the entrance to our quarry or rail yard, and so on. I'm actually buying two more, because the current one is so in-demand at various spots on our railroad. We've been decorating the one we have with washi tape and a few painted details; we'll likely do something creative with these, as well.

Great train station at an amazing price

This train station is a solidly built accessory at a bargain price. Most of my toddler's train collection consists of Brio and Thomas, and I'd say this piece is on par in terms of craftsmanship. An accessory of this size from one of the aforementioned brands will typically run you well over $50. The only thing to note with this station is that the clock on the top does not come attached. You have to slide it in, but that's easy enough. I may use some wood glue to attach mine to ensure my toddler doesn't misplace it.

A great addition which encourages imaginative play

We bought this for our son who has a generic wooden railway set up. This product fits perfectly with his current set up. My son often halts his play with the train at this station to drop off the imaginary passangers. Great construction and great finish. We have gone on to buy two more Big Jigs items as they are made really well. I could not recommend them more.
