Best and probably the last fan you’ll have to buy

Not only does it do what a family supposed to do. It does it silently. They are also very nice to look at. The LED light dims, the fan moves more air than you could ever imagine. Eventually I will replace or five fans in my house with these

Excellent fan with one issue...

This is a large contemporary style ceiling fan designed for moving large quantities of air. It comes with two relatively short downrods, including a two-inch model for short ceilings. If you are hanging this fan from the peak of a cathedral ceiling, or from an angled ceiling beneath the peak, you will need to purchase additional hardware, including a longer downrod and (depending on angle of ceiling) a separate mounting kit. The included directions are clear and the steps for installation can be easily completed in under half-an-hour if you have a properly-supported mounting box in your ceiling. The included LED light is 3000K, fairly warm. The look of the entire fan is smoothly contemporary. I like the way the blades appear to form a circle around the motor hub. Blades are plastic. If you've had a fan with MDF blades that began drooping after a few years, you'll appreciate this. Fan can be installed on either a single or dual switch wiring setup. A dual switch system allows separate switched control of lights and fan. In the single switch system, the remote is necessary to permit independent control of fan and light. In both systems the remote controls not just fan and light on/off, but fan speed and light brightness. We put this fan in a vacation cottage we rent out. It's a nice fan. The remote is cheap compared with the rest of the system--and the wall hanger for the remote is chintzy. I would far prefer a remote like those which come with Lutron wifi switches--a wall-mounted pico remote that fits into what appears to be a normal wall switch receptacle. I keep waiting for a guest to rip the remote out of the holder it's velcroed into and then lose it. And despite Lutron and other manufacturers making smart switches for ceiling fans, if you have a Hunter fan with integrated remote control, none of them will work with your fan. The best solution I can come up with for sidelining the remote in this situation is to turn both the fan and the light on so that when the wall switch is powered it turns both fan and light on, then put a smart bulb in the fan so that you can control the bulb separately (CbyGE, Hue, Sengled, etc...). Or course, when you do this you lose the ability to control the fan speed, so it's still a kludge. Now the big question: why on earth did Hunter leave wifi control out of this fan? There are cheaper ("SimpleConnect") Hunter fans out there that have wifi control. And thought Hunter's "SimpleConnect 2.0" app is pretty bad, it nevertheless beats having to put a cheap remote in a bin on the wall. Why didn't Hunter put wifi into this fan? I don't get it. This is a good fan. Too bad it's limited in the area of controls.

Remote Control - basic and could be much better considering how much this fan retails Fan Blades - These are made of plastic which is great for outdoor use Single vs double switch for Fan/Light - if you leave your fan on high and light on when you flip your switch off and then on it will go back to those same settings. Light - very warm - I much prefer a cooler color that is brighter Air Circulation - I am quiet happy with the air circulation this fan provides I do think there is a slight wobble when the fan is on high. There are several unmarked bags which all the pieces arrive in, you will need to open up each package.

Love it! Size 52” is perfect for my master bedroom.

Absolutely LOVE Hunter fans. This is a beautiful fan. We used in indoor. I truly enjoyed the look of the fan and the way it complemented our master bedroom room. The color looks great and rich. The fan matches my interior furnishing and the wall painting. The fan is zero wobble on highest speed with no balancing and all you hear is the wind. It’s so quite and doesn't make a motor noise at all. This unit installs as easily as any other ceiling fans my husband has put up. It took him 1.5 hours to take off our former fan and install this one. The instruction was very detailed and YouTube videos helped a lot by the way. This ceiling fan came with a pre-installed control receiver for less wiring and simpler installation. It came with a remote control so you can adjust from anywhere in the room. It included 2" & 3" downrods. Depending on the height of your ceiling you may need to purchase a longer rod. The standard rod worked fine for my 10ft ceilings. I have all my bedrooms, living room and patio installed with Hunter Fan. I always recommend Hunter fans to other since they are definitely the best of the best. Highly recommend Hunter Fan!

Modern Looking

This is a nice fan, and quite a few nice features. The plastic blades are great, especially if you are going to use in a covered outdoor area, prevents the fan blades from bending down over time, plus get a bit more of a curve built into them. The remote is nice, except the beeping is just super annoying, and no way to turn it off that I've seen. SureSpeed seems to work just fine as well, seems about the same as normal fans, maybe a bit more powerful/smoother.
