Cases for blades don't close.

I like the idea of having cases for the blades, but I can't get them to close. Are they supposed to close or just stay open? Otherwise, this seems like a high quality, durable tool.

Great tool for small trim

The media could not be loaded. I recently bought it to scrape and repaint some shoe molding. The variety of blades were super helpful and I was glad the blades weren’t bigger. It took quite a bit of work before they needed sharpening. All I needed to to do was refresh the edge on some sand paper and it was good to go again. I was concerned that the 2 knobs on the end of the tool that hold the blade straight would bend or distort, but they have been holding up exceptionally well. This tool is super useful and using a cabinet scraper card after it has made quick work of paint.

Great...but...

Right away I noticed the release mechanism doesnt hold the blade tight...doesnt retract low enough to put enough force down on the blade... maybe its just a fluke..IDK..but on mine blade wobbles slightly. Bummer. Overall design is ergonomic and easy to use.

Great paint scraper, just don't get the heat gun too close

These are wonderful for scraping paint in small nooks and crannies of detailed mouldings, but take care not to get the heat gun too close. I melted my first one, but the blades only fit this type of scraper and I had a ton of those blades, so I bought a second one.

Very comfortable and affective. The steel blade are the negative side. Used as light duty for glue removal just fine.

I should have bought this sooner

I’m removing layers of paint from the trim in my office and bedroom, and I was so frustrated after trying the chemical stripper and realizing I still couldn’t get the more detailed parts of them trim paint free. I looked for scrapers on Amazon and found this one. I figured for twelve bucks it was worth a shot. I’m so glad I did! This scraper is AMAZING. It not only got all the detail work my sander/paint stripper missed, but I also scraped nearly all of the trim in the office in just a few hours. If you’re doing a paint removal project, this will be extremely handy to have around. I definitely recommend it.

I love this little tool

This thing saved my life as I was restoring furniture and had small grooves that had some stubborn paint to remove. The number of different shaped tips and sizes that come with it has been really awesome to experiment with, plus its really sturdy to use. Its easy to change the blades, and the blades come very sharp! The only downfall is its largest blade width not very large, so not recommended for big areas. Definitely recommend for everything else though!

Excellent product

I had lacquer paint which I failed to remove with all types of strippers. This tool worked well even without wood stripper and I was able to manage all tiny grooves well.

Works well

Tool was easy to load and switch scrapers. Tool handle is hard to manipulate due to its shape. Working blades are sharp and offer a large variety of edges.

Great Little Tool for all DIYers

I love tools like this. They make paint stripping of awkward and, sometime, intricate places so much easier. Easy to use, comfortable to hold. It will pay for itself numerous times over. It's already been useful when stripping years of old paint from Edwardian window frames and its next task will be the staircase spindles followed by a lot of architraves.

Not a professional

I'm in the process of refinishing a table and this tool was absolutely essential. The two main blades I use are the second and third from the left on the main product picture and there hasn't been a single tight area that I've been unable to access. The handle is good quality. I think there may be a potential for the quick change mechanism to fail in the future but as somebody only using this tool for a hobby, I'm not too concerned. What I'm most impressed about is that the handle feels very solid and has not melted or burned even though it is always being used at the end of a heat gun.
