Expensive, needs power cord end, not 12 inches on exhaust inlet side

I decided to go with this exhaust fan to use in conjunction with an inflatable paint booth, I liked that it was explosion proof and 12 inch for my ducting size. It works as it should but things I didn't like were the fact that you have to wire your own power cord end onto it because it comes as a long pig tail no plug, looking at the unit it has a flared end and the other size is normal round, well I chose 11 inch because thats the size of my exhaust outlet but on this unit the flared side is the side you connect your exhaust tubing so I couldn't get it to slip over the flared part and ended up cutting off most of the flare so I could even use it. The covers or guards have bolts holding them in and they were loose and had to be re tightened. Overall its what I needed but had to modify in order to make it work, I love the explosion proof aspect but would probably look elsewhere if I had to buy it again. Long term reliability unknown time will tell.

Used to clear fumes while painting. I purchased the 10" version. The 10" flexible duct will not fit. Order the 12" duct. And yes, a plug.

This works great and is slightly cheaper then the other brand. I have one of each, I can’t tell a difference between the 2 besides the color

Explosion Proof, but because it's sold in many countries, Need to add a plug to electric cord

Good looking, explosion proof, well built. Would have been nice to have 2 different speeds, but can easily make do with one. First thing you need to know, is there are 3 wires. Ground was obvious, Green with yellow stripe. Brown is the HOT leg, sometimes called line & Blue is return. Bought ventilator for primary residence. My 2 Best girls are more allergic to low VOC latex paint than I think it'd a pain to use. Not being able to pop out the the pin from the pretty new high end brass hinges makes it far worse. To use for my application an exhaust hose required

Exhaust fan works as described, the power cord is smaller gage wire than expected.

Would prefer larger gage wire on power cored. Had to add heavier gage wire with a plug to fit 20 amp receptacle.

No plug, have to wire by yourself....

Why is there no plug included? how come I now have to find and wire it myself? wtf Who buys things with bare wires for a plug? what a waist of time
