Works many places, but fragile and unstable.
These have worked across Europe, Asia, Australia, but they are made of cheap plastic, do not hold plug adapters tight, and one of them broke off in an Australian outlet which will require the outlet to be repaired. I'd suggest a slightly higher quality build with anything entering an outlet to be made of metal.

This is the only style of plug you should consider.
This is the only style of plug you should consider. It is small, flat, versatile and can configure to fit almost any outlet in the world. I can't make that claim absolute, as I haven't been to every country in the world, but over 35 years traveling for work and pleasure, it fit every country I've been to. This original design was designed and made in Japan and I have had two for many years. Very high quality. These designs are, like a lot of stuff offered on Amazon, Chinese-knock-offs, and the quality isn't very good. Very stiff springs, for one, and sharp edges for another. Comparing the Japanese-made and Chinese-made products side-by-side, there's no question these are of inferior quality in fit and finish and tension. However, like so many things, the cheap price put the higher-priced quality manufacturers out of business, so this is all you can find now of this style. Too bad. For those novice / inexperienced travelers, don't buy all those country-specific adapters in a bulky bag. Don't buy those big "multi-country" brick-style adapters, either. They are big and clumsy and often (particularly for many European countries) the PRONGS may fit, but the bulk/fatness of the unit will prevent the prongs from going into the RECESSED outlet all the way. This style doesn't have that problem. TIP: Many countries outside of the US/Canada/Japan have fairly large a/o higher voltage outlets, and so do not have those multiple outlets at any single location. So using this plug still gives you only ONE outlet to plug your things into. ALSO PACK a multi-outlet adapter so you can plug THAT into this adapter and then have 3 additional outlets to plug your stuff into. Also be sure to pack a compact USB charger with 3 outlets, so you only need to use one of those multi-prong adapters and still have 2 others for other things.

Not recommended, is too unstable
It works, but everything falls when connected, this thing can handle smaller chargers, up to iphone ones, but if you touch it a bit, it disconnects or the connected charger falls.

I think there is better products on the market. This is cheap plastic.

Lightweight - but extremely stiff
Lightweight - but extremely stiff. Wished it was smoothe.

Worldwide adapter except Switzerland; takes 2-prong plugs only (incl US polarized plugs).
This is the most compact and lightweight travel adapter for 2-prong N. American plugs (Type A). Unlike many budget (and non-budget) Universal adapters this particular one takes N. American polarized 2-prong plugs commonly found in shavers, hairdryers and other bathroom appliances - the type where one flat prong is a bit bigger than the other flat prong. This adapter does not take nor adapt to the Swiss, grounded plug where the middle earth-pin is round, and the plugs are 3 in a row. In fact, most multi-country travel adapters do not fit the Swiss plugs because they are so different. The build quality is ok at best probably due to its light weight. Adjusting the prongs feels a bit fiddly and fragile at the beginning, but is secure once adjusted. As long as the receiving outlet is not too tight, then this does what it's designed to do. It has so far survived over 40 trips in the past 2 years to countries all over Asia and Europe. This travel adapter is rated to 6A and not the usual 13A that most Universal Adapters are. As in most travel adapters, the middle pin is plastic and does not provide grounding. Recommended as a lightweight backup travel adapter for use in N. America, UK, Europe (except Switzerland), Australia and parts of Asia. Use in UK/Ireland: Several other reviewers have said that this adapter does not fit into the sockets in the UK & Ireland. This is just simply a misunderstanding where the assumption was that the UK & Ireland are in Europe and so the user configures this adapter to fit a Continental-European socket. The correct format/configuration for this adapter is to follow the instructions for Hong Kong/India (former British colonies) to be used for the UK & Ireland. Additionally, there is a safety feature built into the new British-style sockets where one must push the top pin into the slot to open the slots for the 2 bottom pins. To conclude, this works in the UK, but you must follow the directions for Hong Kong/India.

A bit bigger than anticipated, but still much more compact and convenient than other options
Every time I take time off work, I travel abroad, having gone to 20+ countries in the last 3 years. One of the biggest annoyances is travel plug adapters; they're bulky and heavy if they're multi-country, and if they're individual country, it's annoying to carry a bunch of individual plugs for a trip and they are easily lost. I wanted something that would be the last travel adapter I'd need, that i could bring anywhere in the world and not have to think about it, while still being small and lightweight. The Kikkerland travel adapter fits that bill. It's the same design as the Japanese brand, Road Warrior, but at least on Amazon, Kikkerland is cheaper. I like that the prongs fold in for portability and that the two plug components can fit together, as pictured. The only wish I'd have is that the two prongs at the top for UK/Europe slid out, rather than always protruding - then this would be perfect. I'm a little worried about durability with them sticking out. Also, it was slightly larger than I thought it'd be, although still very compact. Pictured next to an iPhone 7 for scale. Pros: - Smart design, packs light and smaller than any alternatives by a large margin - Cheaper than many all-in-one's despite being as or more functional Cons: - Some wall sockets do fit loose, which isn't the fault of the kikkerland, but it's normally not a problem; with this travel adapter, because the weight of the adapter itself + your own plug will lever the weight so far away from the wall, loose wall sockets are a problem. Fortunately, this seems less common than common, but is definitely annoying when it happens - Two prongs must stick out at all times

Cheap cost, cheap construction
I really liked the slim profile and adaptability of these adapters (bought two), but they're of such incredibly low quality that from the day I received both, the yellow pieces were never under any real tension and ended up flopping around a lot. I didn't really care about that, but the poor quality reared its ugly head on my last trip to Europe a few months ago. While re-configuring the device for the UK, the device basically blew apart while I was adjusting pieces - so it was entirely useless as the metal pieces fell out, and the black plastic split apart. I bought the adapters in 2018, but all tolled, the adapters lasted about 15 days of travel and use. Conversely, I have a bulkier universal adapter that I bought at Target 12 years ago for the same price, which lasted me living overseas for 3 years, and is still going strong with no signs of slowing down.
