Useful stuff. Who knew?

I didn't know there was such a thing as plastic plumbers tape. We were setting up a work area in which to preconfigure multiple computer workstations prior to deployment and trying to figure out how to organize 16 sets of cables for four KVM switches. I remarked, "I could get some plumbers tape and screw the cables to the edges of the tables, but I fear the metal edges would eventually cut and damage the cables. Too bad there's not such a thing as plastic plumbers tape." My coworker said, "There is. I'll bring you a sample tomorrow." Who knew? Dylan did. And so here we are. I ordered this, did the job, and subsequently found a couple more uses for the leftovers. Strong. Flexible. Useful.

I wish it worked for me.

I tried using this tape to install Alpine SPR-60C tweeters into the front doors of my 2004 Subaru WRX, but there was just no good way to mount them. The quality seems to be pretty good though. I was able to bend them around in several positions in attempt to mount the speakers, but it was just not plausible with the door design.

using this to strap in plastic barrels under a floating dock. Previously used metal strapping but it doesn't last long. I have just redone my dock with the plastic strapping so will let you know in 2020 how its standing up.

Perfect for around the house jobs. The metal strap is great for heavy duty applications, but this stuff has been super helpful for some of the smaller things (attaching furniture to walls, storage solution wraps, etc.)
