Great for elementary age kids

These should hold up well. Thick plastic rims and handles look very durable. Bright colors will show up if they are set down outside someplace. The lens is surprisingly good and should engage kids in closer observations of insects and plant parts and all kinds of things they may want to or be encouraged to investigate.

Great product, but there was a quality issue with my specific order.

Our local Science and Technology museum has these. They are a big hit! When the pandemic hit and the museum closed, I started making little stations for my son and some other kids in our lives. I wanted to include these magnifying glasses. Two of them came perfect, the remainders arrived in usable condition but there was a piece rattling on the inside of the rest of them. Since I had planned to use the extra magnifiers to make kits for kids we know, I was bummed that most of them were rattling... It cheapened an otherwise high quality product. The ones that weren’t rattling have been used heavily and haven’t broken or had any rattling so it makes me think maybe there was a quality control issue where a small piece of plastic was left inside the handle. Overall, they are awesome.

Great product, but the stands break off very quickly

My daycare children love the magnifying glasses. They love the bright colors which has many benefits. The children are anxious to explore with them, simply because it's their favorite color. This will also make them easy to keep track of when we take them outside when the weather turns nice. We love that they are a nice big size making them perfect for my toddlers and preschoolers. The magnification level is enough so they can see the difference between using the magnifying glass and just using their eyes. The only negative we have had with them is the "stand" has already broken off of 2 of them and we have only been playing with them for 3 days. If not for that, I would have given them 5 stars.

Stury, durable, the stand is not an issue

These are very durable. I have used before purchasing, and should last for years. Over time the glass will get scratched up (normal wear and tear) but you should still be able to see well out of them. The one thing that has not happened yet with my set but I know will soon happen is the thin piece the stand) will break off at some point) however it will not take away from the use of the product since most people just lay them down on a surface after use anyway, and not either bother with the stand or are not even aware that there is a stand.

Actually magnifies

Actually magnifies and sturdy enough for my two year old. I'm surprised she hasn't managed to break it yet. We gave these away as party favors for her birthday. They were bigger and better quality than expected.

Large, Sturdy, & Perfect for Little Hands

Lovely big magnifying glasses. Very sturdy. Handles perfect for toddlers. A few niggles - the little stands are a bit less strong than the rest of it and one of the glasses has a bit of a bubble in it. However, they are very minor points for all but perfectionists. These are clearly designed well for young children and will more than do the job. For the price, the quality is fantastic. These are absolutely perfect for my child's needs, but would be great in a classroom, a nursery, or for young explorers. They come in 6 bright easily distinguishable colours, so are doing double duty as a tool to teach colours. The size of the magnifying glasses is generous and the grip great for small hands. Delighted with these!!

Great learning tool!

LOVE these! Got the full pack instead of the individual, and they were on sale! Will use two for my kiddos, and one back up, then will gift the other three to little friends! Great learning tool!

Fantastic for little explorers

Great price for a set of 6 compared to buying single one. My 3 children have 1 which I bought at a preschool sale and they often fight over it. These will be going into their stockings at Christmas - each will have own colour and there will be peace on Christmas day... Colours are great, bright and vibrant, quality if great, our existing one has endured much abuse during it's preschool service as well as in our home with 3 boys aged between 1 and 5, and is still perfectly fine, with a few minor scratches. It's a good size for little hands to hold, but also great size for children to look through. I would recommend it without hesitation.

Robust

Always a good purchase.. used for outdoor learning with primary school groups and these withstand almost anything and are good magnifiers. Great to have the bright colours; easier to find when they’ve been lost in the undergrowth ???????? We don’t use the pull out stand so can’t say if that would get broken.
