Not all that impressed.

A chop saw with an abrasive wheel will cut much faster than this. It leaves a very sloppy cut that will need to have the edges ground clean. If you have a lot of work to get done, this is not the blade for you.

Buy a Carbide tipped blade instead.

If you have ever used a carbide tipped metal blade, this blade will leave you disappointed. The thickness of the blade is not the best of designs, the diamonds are on the side of the blade tip as well. with the blade deflection the sides of the blade continued to melt the metal all the way through after the tip of the blade already had cut it. We used it to cut thin wall steel tubing. It was a slow cut with lots of blade deflection, was ungodly loud, left a finish cut that required the most cleanup of any blade I have ever used. The only way I would recommend this product would be for demo. Lenox needs to find some new engineers ASAP.

My ears still bled but it cut well and the diamonds look like new. Regardless this thing doesn't live up to ...

Slow and loud. Can't attest for its claims lasting longer than a traditional cut off disc because I switched back to the dewalts I had. However this might be the ticket for cast iron. I was cutting up some thick utility cover and ran out masonry discs just as the stores were closing. Then I remembered this thing had diamonds and gave it another shot. My ears still bled but it cut well and the diamonds look like new. Regardless this thing doesn't live up to the hype printed on the item/packaging.

Best blade out there.

I been in construction 20 years flipping houses and rental properties. This blade is amazing. Will cut through 4 in galvanized pipe, through plaster, metal and all. This blade will give you 1000 cuts or more. I love it.

Dull after 5 cuts....

I cut custom closet rods for a living, this blade i thought would handle at least a hundred cuts, a standard blade will do at least 100, this made it through 5 1 inch hollow steel rods before it could not cut through another... complete waist of money i had high hopes for this one.
