Great product but labor intensive to install

This switch is well made and adjustable for switch depth. This switch is better suited for new construction installations. You will need to mortise in the plate and cut in the box to accommodate the switch and wiring.

Good Quality Switch

I used this to control the lights on our pantry. It's a simple, useful upgrade that gets a lot of compliments. I did have to notch the door stop molding just a bit to make it fit.

Am very happy to have it finally installed. Was missing a part but hubby went to Home Depot and was able to obtain the missing part from them. (Didn't have time to wait to contact manufacturer for it.)

Little large for interior door jams

I used this switch for a pantry and it looks and functions great. But it's a little to large for the door so I had installed it under the door stop slightly. I probably should have routered out a notch in the door stop for the face plate but I'll cross that bridge when it comes.

Intermittent sticking switch

I found this product works better when NOT used with the metal rectangular casing when installing in a door jam as the casing is a bit large. No issues using without that casing. However the first few uses revealed the switch does have a tendency to stick in the closed (off) position. The spring seems strong enough; however the slider might stick as it is pushed out by the spring. Pressing the slider in several times by hand while wiggling left to right seemed to free it up. It might only need graphite lubricant to fix the sticking issue. Overall it seems solid, but I might consider another brand next time.

Good Switch

Needed a momentary switch for the snowblower attached to my Garden Tractor and as usual I could not find one in Canada. Home Depot in my area was out of them so I tried Amazon. When raising my snowblower I needed a way to stop it at a certain point. This switch works great for that purpose. RonA
