Sturdy Cart

It is a sturdy hose cart easy to assemble. I gave 4 starts just because the top handle works better for me when i installed it backwards such that it bends upward instead of outward. Also, the weird negative is that when there are 2 hoses coiled around the drum, when you pull the hoses to unwrap them, there is a lot of inertia that keeps the drum spinning uncoiling more hose that i want. Oddly, it needs a brake or more friction on the rotating drum to prevent that. I created my own way to prevent this. The hose connection is brass so it shoul last longer that a steel fitting which will rust. I would buy it again.

Great quality and very sturdy

Gave to hubby as present cause I saw him struggle with our old plastic cart. This one is very sturdy and really accommodates a 70ft long hose

Worth the Money

Strong, solid brass fittings, no leaks, very smooth reel action with a 75' heavy rubber hose. When assembling, pay attention to the way you mount the reel on the frame--it can go either way depending on the location of your hose bib. I assembled mine in the carport and proudly took it out to the hose, only to find that I had to dismantle it and flip the reel around. My error. Very good product.

Went together well. Looks good

We've had a series of ugly hose reels... from the giant plastic contraptions to the huge metal wheeled carts. All are ugly and dominate the front yard of our house... we would hide them when company comes over. My wife and I are very pleased with this one. It works well, and it looks nice. As some reviewers have noted the feed hose is pretty cheap, but I'm able to get over that. The whole package makes up for it. No more hiding the hose reel....

Stop looking just buy this

I put it together in about 20 minutes, The cheap plastic ones will leak after the first season, they are significant cheaper but annoying to have to keep buying .This is Easily portable around your yard. As for the bad reviews I’ve seen on the item, nothing last forever ,Pay the money upfront on this one. It has metal fittings for both hoses and will last numerous seasons. All tools are provided for assembly along with an attachment hose.

Cart is great! Hose to faucet is horrible.

As noted in other reviews the hose supplied to go from the cart to the faucet is cracked and splitting as I unwind it. The price paid should warrant an good hose too.

Well Built

I owned a plastic hose reel and replaced it with this item. The foot print is the same size as the old plastic model, it is also higher, and easy to reel & maneuver. Well built and hilly recommend. However, the leader hose supplied with this reel is pure junk. I purchased a separate leader hose and use quick connect at the reel to remove the leader hose after each use.

GOOD PRODUCT- POOR PACKAGEING AND SHIPPING.

FIRST REEL RECEIVED WITH BOX IN SUCH BAD SHAPE IT HAD TO BE PLACED IN ANOTHER BOX. TOO BAD THEY DID NOT CHECK FOR MISSING PARTS. REPORTED TO AMAZON AND ANOTHER WAS SHIPPED OUT QUICKLY. THIS BOX WAS ALSO BEAT UP AND HEAVILY TAPED WITH AMAZON TAPE TO HOLD TOGETHER AND COVER HOLES. LUCKILY ALL PARTS WERE THERE THIS TIME. SO FAR REEL HAS BEEN GOOD.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

The box was destroyed on arrival. The bolt holes in the parts do not line up. The wheels do not stay on. The whole item is warped and impossible to assemble. Be very wary.
