It’s large and nice looking

Nice idea in theory

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with the Mikasa Floating Acrylic Frame for 11x14 Inch Photo with Gold Hardware. First and foremost, the frame comes with a hazy plastic overlay on each side which I believe is to prevent the acrylic from getting scratched or damaged during transport. While I appreciate this, it was extremely difficult to remove as it is one large piece on each side and unless you pulled it quickly, it left an odd sticky residue on the acrylic that looked like scuffs. Some sort of pull tab and breaking up the film into sections instead of one large piece would make it easier to remove it from the signs. The clear washers on each metal hardware accent are hard to see and easy to lose. Unfortunately, they did not provide extras and I lost one while setting up the frame. Putting your artwork or photo within the frame and having it remain straight is difficult. It would have been nice if they had provided some sort of glue dots or double sided tape to help secure whatever it is you are framing. While a great idea in theory, the reality of an acrylic floating frame is just not ideal for me.

Elegant frame is better in person

The pictures online do not do this frame justice, in real life the acrylic sheets actually look like glass giving it an elegant, high end appearance.

Beautiful acrylic floating frame

This is an elegant frame where the photo looks like it's floating in it since it's made of all clear acrylic. The film came off mostly easily. Since it's clear the gold hardware is small, it can easily fit in any home. It did take a few tries to center the photo without it shifting, but once it came together it looked really nice!

It's alright

The Acrylic Frame for Photo honestly, is just okay. It looks nice enough and is easy to use, but it doesn't really stand out like I thought it would from other photo frames on the market. The acrylic material feels a bit flimsy, and the frame doesn't seem that durable. Additionally, the frame tends to attract fingerprints and smudges, which can be absolutely frustrating. Basically, while it's not a bad product, I wouldn't say it's the best option out there.

it's a little fussy to set up, but absolutely worth the effort

It is a little bit fussy to get it all set up the way you want it and get it attached to the wall, but it's worth the effort. It's a fantastic looking frame to display your art prints.

ehhhh

We love acrylic frames. This could be beautiful but hanging it up, and the look of it is cheap. Its decently priced, but pretty flimsy. I don't really care for needing to drill 2 holes to hang something of this size with not much guidance or instruction.
